Juventus handed Toulouse their first loss in their UEFA Champions League campaign to start the month with a goal from Paul Pogba proving the difference between the two sides. Toulouse would then defeat AS Saint-Etienne in a comfortable 2-0 victory before a Kelechi Iheanacho sealed a victory over recently promoted Tours FC.

Toulouse finished the month strongly by defeating Olympiakos 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League and then coming away with an impressive 3-0 victory over AS Nancy Lorraine with Wissam Ben Yedder collecting a brace.

Cristian Pavon has been named the Player of the Month for October as he continues to develop into a world class player. The 22-year-old has performed at another level so far this season by improving his work rate while managing to provide a high number of key passes for his teammates.

Now one of the best dribblers in the world, Pavon combines that skill with his incredible pace and acceleration to put fear in defensive players throughout Europe. Toulouse will have to continue to deal with a large number of clubs trying to sign the Argentinian with the club already turning down a number of large bids from Borussia Dortmund.

After a 4-4 draw against FC Nantes, Paris Saint-Germain have had their lead brought down to one point in the Ligue 1 while the top two sides begin to take a significant lead over the rest of the competition. Stade Rennais sit five points clear in third place while a number of sides find themselves grouped together below the top three as they look to establish themselves.

The bottom of the table remains unclear with a number of sides finding themselves close to the relegation places. In other news, AS Monaco manager Frank de Boer and Montpellier HSC manager Zinedine Zidane find themselves under pressure to maintain their managerial roles with both clubs falling well below their season expectations so far this season.

At the halfway point of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Toulouse find themselves in a good position to advance to the first knockout round. Toulouse will have a better indication of their position in the group when they travel to Greece to face third placed Olympiakos.

Dany Maury

After straining a stomach muscle in weights session, Dany Maury is expected to be out of action for two to three weeks. Toulouse will only be without Maury for a few games with an international break scheduled during the middle of November.

Staring the month off with an away fixture against FC Lorient in Ligue 1, Toulouse then travel to Greece to face Olympiakos in the UEFA Champions League followed by a match against rivals Montpellier HSC before the international break.

To finish the month, Toulouse face Olympique Marseille at Stade Velodrome and then travel to Russia to face Zenit St Petersburg in a UEFA Champions League fixture.
Good to see you keeping pace with PSG in the league, also looking good in Champions League.

Keep it up
Solid showing on all fronts there bro! keep it up

Toulouse Invest In Facility Development

http://s105.photobucket.com/user/chrisgriffin89/media/000_par7921033_zpspnydxjs0.jpg.html
Toulouse chairman Olivier Sadran has announced upgrades to training and youth facilities

• Toulouse are investing €14.25 million for the upgrades to be completed
• The upgrades to the training and youth facilities will be completed by October 2019
• Hernan Lanoix is the latest youth product to break into the Toulouse first team squad

After recently completing upgrades to the training and youth facilities, Toulouse chairman Olivier Sadran has announced that the club will make further upgrades to the facilities. The upgrades are set to cost the club €14.25 million with the work to be completed by October in 2019

“Despite only recently completing upgrades to our training and youth facilities, it is important that we continue to improve our club at all times.” said Toulouse chairman Olivier Sadran. “Improving our facilities is the best way to invest our recently increased income to ensure the club has the best opportunity to operate at a high level on a consistent basis.” he added.

“I am happy for the club to invest money in our facilities instead of adding funds to our transfer budget.” said Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage. “The facility upgrades will allow our current first team players to take their game to a higher level while allowing our youth players a much better opportunity to develop as footballers.” he added.

Toulouse has eight players who were trained by the club in their first team squad including 16-year-old Hernan Lanoix who has just broken into the squad from the youth system this year. A number of other players in the Toulouse Under 19s side have also performed well and will be soon pressuring members of the first team squad for their positions.
Nice work, always a good decision

Still going story, still loving this story. Keep it coming!
Great investment, loving the long-term vision you have in mind with the club :)

Starting the month in good form, Toulouse came away with a dominant 3-1 victory over FC Lorient in their opening fixture of the month followed by a 2-1 victory over Olympiakos in the UEFA Champions League saw them secure qualification to the next round of the competition.

A 1-0 win over rivals Montpellier HSC would be enough to see Montpellier HSC manager Zinedine Zidane sacked while Toulouse would go on to perform poorly as failed to capitalise on multiple chances as they drew 1-1 against Olympique Marseille. In the final fixture of the month, Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage opted to rest a number of his starting players against Zenit St Petersburg with the side returning from Russia with a 1-0 loss.

Despite not playing as well as his past few seasons, Oscar Trejo remains one of the most important players in the Toulouse squad. Trejo has put together an impressive month which has seen him continue to produce a high number of key passes to be named the Player of the Month for November.

The 30-year-old has proved a pivotal player during his time at the club but Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage will be aware that he must soon be looking towards the future as his productivity begins to decline.

After Toulouse drew against Olympique Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain have slightly extended their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table while Stade Rennais continue to impress in third. AS Saint-Etienne have managed to find form and work their way up into fourth, while a number of sides remain close behind them.

Dijon FCO have emerged as relegation contenders at the bottom of the table after a poor month while the rest of the relegation threatened sides remain close together. Montpellier HSC have taken early action on their poor results, sacking manager Zinedine Zidane after their 1-0 loss to rivals Toulouse.

After performing well early in the group stage, Toulouse have qualified for the next stage of the UEFA Champions League. Toulouse go into their final match against Juventus knowing that no matter the result of the game, they will finish second in Group F.

Toulouse have been drawn against AS Monaco for their first match in the Coupe de la Ligue with the fixture set to take place at Stade Louis II. Despite all of the success Dominique Arribage has had during his time as manager of Toulouse, the Coupe de la Ligue remains the only trophy in French football that he has yet to claim.

Injury Report

The Toulouse squad currently has a clean bill of health.

To start the month, Toulouse play three straight matches in Ligue 1 against sides which find themselves in the top half of the table. Toulouse then take on Juventus in their final group match in the UEFA Champions League in a match which will have no impact on both teams final position in Group F.

After the home fixture against Juventus, Toulouse hit the road as they play three matches away from home in a row including their opening fixture in the Coupe de la Ligue against AS Monaco before returning to Stadium Municipal to end the year as they play En Avant de Guingamp.
A decent month in the league and looking forward to seeing who you get in the next round of the UCL!
It's been a while since I read this but you're still going very strong, best of luck keeping Zenit out of 2nd!
Good update and a strong month! Unlucky against Zenit mate
Just caught up again mate, still going strong, still doing Ligue 1 proud by challenging PSG for the title!

Heading into December facing a heavy schedule, Toulouse got off to a great start by putting together three straight victories in Ligue 1 fixtures. Toulouse would next face Juventus in the UEFA Champions League with the match having no effect on either sides final position in Group F, both teams rested their usual starting players with Juventus coming away with a 1-0 victory.

Following a victory over Stade de Reims, Toulouse would lose in their Coupe de la Ligue fixture against AS Monaco to see them eliminated from the competition. Next up, third placed Stade Rennais FC scored late in the second half to earn a 1-1 draw with Toulouse then going on to finish the month with a dominant 4-0 win over En Avant de Guingamp.

Undoubtedly one of the best players in French football, Cristian Pavon has been named the Player of the Month for December as well as winning the Ligue 1 Player of the Month award.

Continuing to show why a number of clubs across Europe are showing a large amount of interest in him, the 22-year-old has continued his scintillating form in December by scoring four goals in six games.

Toulouse have fallen further behind Paris Saint-Germain at the top of the Ligue 1 table after a 1-1 draw with Stade Rennais FC with the league leaders winning all their games throughout December. Stade Rennais FC themselves remain clearly in the third place while a number of sides find themselves close together in the positions below.

In the relegation battle, a number of sides have broken clear of Tours FC, Dijon FCO and Stade de Reims leaving the sides needing to find some form to avoid the bottom three places towards the end of the season.

After finishing second in Group F behind Juventus, Toulouse have been drawn against Arsenal in the first knockout round of the UEFA Champions League. The first leg between the two sides is set to played at Stadium Municipal.

In their opening fixture of the French Cup, Toulouse are set to face FC Fleury 91 at Stade Henri Longuet. Should they come away victorious, Toulouse will play their next match in the competition before the end of the month.

Continuing their poor form in the Coupe de la Ligue, Toulouse have been eliminated in their first fixture of the competition after losing to AS Monaco. The Coupe de la Ligue trophy remains elusive for Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage who has won every other competition in French football during his time at the club.

The Toulouse squad currently has a clean bill of health.

Due to the winter break, Toulouse are expected to only play two fixtures in January, although should they defeat FC Fleury 91 in their French Cup 9th Round fixture they will play another match in the French Cup towards the end of the month.

The other fixture in January will see Toulouse face the recently promoted Havre Athletic Club at Stadium Municipal.
Tough loss to Juve mate but you are so, so close to PSG at the moment with half a season to go I have faith you can over take them! Keep it up :)
