Juventus handed Toulouse their first loss in their UEFA Champions League campaign to start the month with a goal from Paul Pogba proving the difference between the two sides. Toulouse would then defeat AS Saint-Etienne in a comfortable 2-0 victory before a Kelechi Iheanacho sealed a victory over recently promoted Tours FC.

Toulouse finished the month strongly by defeating Olympiakos 2-0 in the UEFA Champions League and then coming away with an impressive 3-0 victory over AS Nancy Lorraine with Wissam Ben Yedder collecting a brace.


Cristian Pavon has been named the Player of the Month for October as he continues to develop into a world class player. The 22-year-old has performed at another level so far this season by improving his work rate while managing to provide a high number of key passes for his teammates.

Now one of the best dribblers in the world, Pavon combines that skill with his incredible pace and acceleration to put fear in defensive players throughout Europe. Toulouse will have to continue to deal with a large number of clubs trying to sign the Argentinian with the club already turning down a number of large bids from Borussia Dortmund.


After a 4-4 draw against FC Nantes, Paris Saint-Germain have had their lead brought down to one point in the Ligue 1 while the top two sides begin to take a significant lead over the rest of the competition. Stade Rennais sit five points clear in third place while a number of sides find themselves grouped together below the top three as they look to establish themselves.

The bottom of the table remains unclear with a number of sides finding themselves close to the relegation places. In other news, AS Monaco manager Frank de Boer and Montpellier HSC manager Zinedine Zidane find themselves under pressure to maintain their managerial roles with both clubs falling well below their season expectations so far this season.


At the halfway point of the UEFA Champions League group stage, Toulouse find themselves in a good position to advance to the first knockout round. Toulouse will have a better indication of their position in the group when they travel to Greece to face third placed Olympiakos.

Starting the month in good form, Toulouse came away with a dominant 3-1 victory over FC Lorient in their opening fixture of the month followed by a 2-1 victory over Olympiakos in the UEFA Champions League saw them secure qualification to the next round of the competition.

A 1-0 win over rivals Montpellier HSC would be enough to see Montpellier HSC manager Zinedine Zidane sacked while Toulouse would go on to perform poorly as failed to capitalise on multiple chances as they drew 1-1 against Olympique Marseille. In the final fixture of the month, Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage opted to rest a number of his starting players against Zenit St Petersburg with the side returning from Russia with a 1-0 loss.


Despite not playing as well as his past few seasons, Oscar Trejo remains one of the most important players in the Toulouse squad. Trejo has put together an impressive month which has seen him continue to produce a high number of key passes to be named the Player of the Month for November.

The 30-year-old has proved a pivotal player during his time at the club but Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage will be aware that he must soon be looking towards the future as his productivity begins to decline.


After Toulouse drew against Olympique Marseille, Paris Saint-Germain have slightly extended their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table while Stade Rennais continue to impress in third. AS Saint-Etienne have managed to find form and work their way up into fourth, while a number of sides remain close behind them.

Dijon FCO have emerged as relegation contenders at the bottom of the table after a poor month while the rest of the relegation threatened sides remain close together. Montpellier HSC have taken early action on their poor results, sacking manager Zinedine Zidane after their 1-0 loss to rivals Toulouse.


After performing well early in the group stage, Toulouse have qualified for the next stage of the UEFA Champions League. Toulouse go into their final match against Juventus knowing that no matter the result of the game, they will finish second in Group F.


Toulouse have been drawn against AS Monaco for their first match in the Coupe de la Ligue with the fixture set to take place at Stade Louis II. Despite all of the success Dominique Arribage has had during his time as manager of Toulouse, the Coupe de la Ligue remains the only trophy in French football that he has yet to claim.

Heading into December facing a heavy schedule, Toulouse got off to a great start by putting together three straight victories in Ligue 1 fixtures. Toulouse would next face Juventus in the UEFA Champions League with the match having no effect on either sides final position in Group F, both teams rested their usual starting players with Juventus coming away with a 1-0 victory.

Following a victory over Stade de Reims, Toulouse would lose in their Coupe de la Ligue fixture against AS Monaco to see them eliminated from the competition. Next up, third placed Stade Rennais FC scored late in the second half to earn a 1-1 draw with Toulouse then going on to finish the month with a dominant 4-0 win over En Avant de Guingamp.

In the relegation battle, a number of sides have broken clear of Tours FC, Dijon FCO and Stade de Reims leaving the sides needing to find some form to avoid the bottom three places towards the end of the season.


After finishing second in Group F behind Juventus, Toulouse have been drawn against Arsenal in the first knockout round of the UEFA Champions League. The first leg between the two sides is set to played at Stadium Municipal.


In their opening fixture of the French Cup, Toulouse are set to face FC Fleury 91 at Stade Henri Longuet. Should they come away victorious, Toulouse will play their next match in the competition before the end of the month.


Continuing their poor form in the Coupe de la Ligue, Toulouse have been eliminated in their first fixture of the competition after losing to AS Monaco. The Coupe de la Ligue trophy remains elusive for Toulouse manager Dominique Arribage who has won every other competition in French football during his time at the club.
