Love Lukaku, I hope he tears the league apart for you!

January

Results

We welcomed in the new year with a home match against Bayer Leverkusen who up until now have been pretty inconsistent, it looked as though we would pick up the 3 points after Shinji Kagawa gave us the lead on 9 minutes, but as weve seen on numerous occasions this season, Dortmund havnt been able to close out a game, Kramer equalised for Leverkusen in the 93rd minute to earn themselves a draw despite being second best for most of the 90 minutes.

Timo Werner scored early for the hosts after alot of early pressure, they then doubled the lead just after the half hour mark when Harnik was left with just a tap in after being left alone at the far post. Romelu Lukaku pulled one back two minutes later with a tidy finish after going on one one with Tyton, but thats all the away side could muster and they fell to defeat for the first time since September.

Dortmund rounded off the month with a resounding 4-1 win against Werder Bremen, Gundogan got the home side off to the perfect start with a goal after 15 minutes, they then doubled the lead on the half hour mark when new signing Limnios beat two players with ease before beating Weidwald at his near post, Mats Hummels then made it 3-0 just before halftime. Hummels rounded off the scoring in the dying minutes to give Dortmund a 4-1 win

Bundesliga Table

Bayern have capitalized on Dortmunds poor form this month by moving 9 points clear at the top and have still not tasted defeat this season after winning all 3 games in January, Dortmund still sit in second place, 5 points clear of 3rd place Bremen.

Hannover have gone back to the bottom of table with 3 successive losses this month which has seen them still stuck on 15 points, Ingolstadt on the other hand have leaped out of the relegation zone after picking up 6 points this month including wins over Hannover and Darmstadt.

Injury Report

Lukasz Piszczek - Currently receiving specialist treatment for a broken foot, expected to be ruled out for the rest of the season

Manager Movements

Thomas Schaaf has been sacked by Hannover, Felix Magath has taken charge and been given the task of leading the struggling side to safety

Monchengladbach have decided to sack Andre Schubert after they lost two of their last 3 matches at home which has left the side languishing in 15th, Arie Van Lent has take control on a temporary basis
Not the greatest month ever, but you can still catch up with Bayern in my opinion!

February

Results

February got underway with a laboured 0-0 between Dortmund and Mainz, both teams had plenty of chances on goal but neither could capitalise, this was only the second time this season Dortmund have dropped points at home

Borussia Dortmund's poor away form continued as they suffered a 2-1 defeat against Darmstadt. Saller gave the home side the lead, before it was doubled two minutes later by Bosnian international Mario Vrancic. Romelu Lukaku gave Dortmund a glimmer of hope in the 72nd minute but thats all they could muster, this is now the 4th consecutive game Borussia have failed to win away from home.

Bayern Munich arrived at Signal Iduna Park in confident mood and 11 points clear at the top, but Borussia Dortmund took the lead on 30 minutes when Aubameyang found himself with miles of space behind the Munich defence and he made no mistake beating Neuer. Aubameyang then doubled the home sides lead with 30 minutes left after neat interplay with Reus. Dortmund held on to claim a very big 3 points

Bundesliga Table

Despite losing to Dortmund in the final match of February, Bayern Munich have retained top spot with a comfortable 8 point lead, Hoffenheim who sit third are 7 points behind Dortmund.

the change of management at Hannover has made no difference as they only picked up 1 point in february, a 1-1 draw with Wolfsburg, which mean they still sit bottom of the Bundesliga, Monchengladbach have moved back into the bottom three after only picking up the 1 point aswell, many fans at the Borussia club are fearing the worst, and have already started looking towards life in the second tier next season.

Europa League first Knockout Round Results

Europa League Second Knockout Round Draw

There will be a new Europa League champion this season after Sevilla went out to Benfica in the last round, the Portuguese side now face Bordeaux for a place in the last 8, two of the tournament favourites go head to head as Napoli take on Liverpool which is no doubt the tie of the round.

Elsewhere, Villareal will host Tottenham in the first leg of the Europa League tie, whilst Dnipro will be hoping they can get some kind of result at home as they come up against Borussia Dortmund
I expect you to progress even further in the Europa League, good result against Bayern but your lack of consistency might cost you in the end...
Looks like the title might just be ebbing away mate but Europa League glory would still be fantastic!
Make the Europa League dream happen imo ;)

Results

Borussia Dortmund's inability to hold onto a lead has once again come under question after surrendering a 2 goal lead against cellar dwellars Hannover, Dortmund raced to a 2-0 lead through Passlack and Reus but were pegged back in the second half after conceding 3 unanswered goals.

Schalke traveled to Dortmund for the Revier Derby, Schalke came into the match without a win in 4 matches and their fierce rivals made life no easier for them. Shinji Kagawa bagged a brace, while Aubameyang scored his 27th goal of the season to add a bit of gloss to the result

Its now been 6 matches since Borussia Dortmund last won on the road, Embolo gave Dortmund the lead early on, Osako leveled things just after the restart, Aubameyang then gave Dortmund the lead for the second time of the game, only for former player Milos Jojic to equalise two minutes before the end to keep this barron run going

Bundesliga Table

Bayern still lead the way with 7 games remaining, and only a major drop in form would see them surrender top spot. Borussia Dortmund are in second place, 3 points ahead of closest rivals Bayer Leverkusen, while suprise packets Werder Bremen sit 4th.

At the other end of the table Schalke have dropped into the relegation zone and are in real danger of going down, Lucien Favre's appointment at Monchengladbach hasnt seemed to have much affect on the club as they currently sit second from bottom, with no signs of improving. Hannover look set to be the first club officially relegated, which has been looking like the case since very early on

Europa League Second Round Results
Europa League Quarter Final Draw
Marseille, currently third in Ligue 1 come up against Tottenham Hotspur who sit 5th in the English Premier League, Tottenham have now been made joint favourites to win the Europa League alongside Borussia Dortmund, Dortmund have been drawn against Dutch powerhouse Ajax Amsterdam who have had a tough season domestically and sit 5th in the Eredivisie.

Meanwhile Liverpool travel to Portugal in their first leg as they come up against Benfica. Mochengladbach who are currently facing the possibility of being relegated from the Bundesliga face Monaco and will travel to France for the opening leg

still can't beat bayern.eh? in the league i mean
I feel Spurs are your biggest threat in Europe, best of luck!
Gonna be back in the Champions League which is a start mate! Feel like you can put together a world class squad this summer, but you're still going strong in Europe!
