January
Results

We welcomed in the new year with a home match against Bayer Leverkusen who up until now have been pretty inconsistent, it looked as though we would pick up the 3 points after Shinji Kagawa gave us the lead on 9 minutes, but as weve seen on numerous occasions this season, Dortmund havnt been able to close out a game, Kramer equalised for Leverkusen in the 93rd minute to earn themselves a draw despite being second best for most of the 90 minutes.
Timo Werner scored early for the hosts after alot of early pressure, they then doubled the lead just after the half hour mark when Harnik was left with just a tap in after being left alone at the far post. Romelu Lukaku pulled one back two minutes later with a tidy finish after going on one one with Tyton, but thats all the away side could muster and they fell to defeat for the first time since September.
Dortmund rounded off the month with a resounding 4-1 win against Werder Bremen, Gundogan got the home side off to the perfect start with a goal after 15 minutes, they then doubled the lead on the half hour mark when new signing Limnios beat two players with ease before beating Weidwald at his near post, Mats Hummels then made it 3-0 just before halftime. Hummels rounded off the scoring in the dying minutes to give Dortmund a 4-1 win
