Can someone please explain the differences between ratings and abilities? I've always looked at the current og potential ability, but I've always heard that it's the wrong way to do it?
So I would like to know what to look for.
I'm new to this, seems confusing also...
CA and PA= how much stats he can have, can be increased.
rating= how good he is for his natural position.
Current ability (CA) = an overall mark out of 200
Potential ability (PA) = a mark out of 200 that the player could be expected to increase his CA to during his career.
Obviously, older players will already have fulfilled most of their potential, whereas the gap between the two is higher for youngsters. Bear in mind though, that many players, both in-game and in real life, have high potential but fail to reach it for whatever reason.
Ratings are for positions, showing you how versatile a player is, and where on the pitch he is most dangerous.
Thanks a lot for your answers
