@Balik : Yeah i am hoping it continues, because no matter what team i manage, somehow we play well up until January and then I have like a three month poor period till April, and then pick up the pace again at the end., but by then it is to late. So i am hoping that does not happen this time around.

@Justice : Yeah it shocked me as well, because when the shortlist came out, he was ranked 4th, so i did not expect him to get it. Although i am glad i finally got that steam achievement.

@ScottT : Yeah they are, and not so nice on the otherside, Liverpool are lounging down in 16th only 2 points clear and just fired there manager.
Okay now this scares me

Our main title rivals sign our former star striker, who has been scoring for fun at Schalke.
28 in 33 last season and 10 in 16 so far this season.

Hopefully Lukaku doesn't come back to hurt you, he certainly has a huge pool of talent.
Damn, you can easily find a replacement with that £61 million you got, and hopefully you can withstand the last stretch of months without him. No player is bigger then the team
First comment on this in ages but well done to Barkley and well done to you on the new contract, more than deserved!
Lukaka...... That Beast :O
@Justice: Yeah i hope so too, i just have a feeling he will score the goal that wins them the league over me.

@Balik: I sold Lukaku to Schalke 2 seasons ago to avoid him going to Arsenal, and then he joined Arsenal from them. And thanks for the follow, its much appreciated.

@mgriffin2012: Thanks, hope to keep the good times coming.

@Live for FM: He is a beast, just hope he lost some of that talent at Schalke.
Hey guys, just a quick update. Sorry about not doing the end of season upload yet, i just had my final week of school, so all assignments and stuff were due, so i had no time to play, this week i have finals, so i wont be playing as well, sorry for the wait. Will be back next week with the end of season update, and then i will be on summer break, so things will pick up pace then.
End of season update

BPL league and fixtures

We have been really good in the league this season, and have kept form somewhat consistent over the whole season. And after Arsenal won 1 of their last 5 and Manchester United won 1 of their last 7, we were able to clinch the title with a few games to spare.

Really happy to have won the league, i think this was the target coming into the season and because of other teams around us slipping up we were able to do it.
FA Cup
Thought the treble was on, but that was not to be. Southampton beat us after going a man down in the 9th minute. This game seriously pissed me off, and since we most probably had the hardest run to the semi's i felt we should have beaten Southampton. But i guess you cannot win it all. Maybe next season.

UEFA Champions League
Biggest surprise of the season for me so far. Although we most probably got the easiest run to this point of the competition. Basel was a comfortable two legged tie, we dominated Valencia in the first leg, and then Timo Horn's heroics saved us from going out on away goals in the second leg. Now, we have Monaco, who knocked out former double champs Real Madrid, so i am expecting a tough game but if we can win the first leg at home, we could be in a final.

Champions League End

Semi-final

Controlled the first leg, and after being 2-0 up i was disappointed to give away an away goal, but we held on for the victory. The narrow margin and their away goal made for a really nervy second leg, luckily i could rest my players as we already won the league.

Second leg was all about hanging on. Then Rashford scored yet another goal in the 77th minute and we were sitting pretty, then they scored in the 85th minute and things got nervy again. But we held on for dear life and thanks to 2 brilliant saves by Horn at the end we were through to our first ever UCL final against Barcelona.

The Final - Against Barcelona at Wembley Staduim

Going in I was secretly confident, after all we have beaten Juventus and survived against Bayern (A) this season, as well as beat Real Madrid in the Super Cup, so why couldn't we cause another upset. We went down 1-0 early, and i was not to worried. Then Barcelona had highlight after highlight and thanks to Timo Horn we survived at 1-0. Then start of the second half, Goretzka got himself sent off and made things even harder. After the sending off i thought 'what the heck, lets just go for it,' and go for it we did. Timo Werner got the equalizer and we looked like we would score the winner, missing chance after chance in the last 20 minutes, only 3 shots on target. Then the unthinkable happened and we gave away a penalty on the 89th minute, and Barcelona were never going to miss it. My heart sunk and even though we were not favorites coming in, I really thought we would win in that last 20 minutes.

Player/season Review and Looking forward

New signings

Jack Grealish; avg. rating - 7.21, goals - 7, assists - 12
Jairo Riedewald; avg, rating 7.10

Although the stats look pretty, for the money i spent both disappointed, but Jack Grealish looked superb in some games, so i will give him another season. Jairo on the other hand had plenty a 5.7-6.2 performances and looked average at best most of the time, if a club comes in for him, he might be moving on.

Star Performers
Ross Barkley again - our own 5-star player. Avg. rating - 7.82, goals - 13, assists - 10
Marcus Rashford - surprise package. Avg rating - 7.38, goals - 24, assists - 9
Pione Sisto - Mr. Consistent. Avg. rating - 7.53, goals - 8, assists - 11
Season Review

This has been a good season. Set out to win the league and we did just that. I did not mention the Capital Cup earlier because we got knocked out early, and I was not to bothered with that cup. Disappointed to have been knocked out in the Semi's of the FA Cup and to lose the Final of the UCL, especially the way in which we lost both games.

Looking Forward

Will most probably be looking to move a couple people on, as i feel they are just not good enough any more. We also got another healthy budget of 56 million pounds and a wage bill increase of nearly 1 million, so this summer should be a lot of fun.

For next season, i am hoping to make it as far as i can in the UCL hopefully we get another favorable knockout draw and an easier group this time around. I also hope to do the League and Cup double this season as it is the next step in the challenge.

This challenge has gone way better than i expected, and that is down to getting Everton at the start. We have now reached over 2000 views, and i just want to say thanks for the support.

So stay tuned for season 5
Just a side note

Lukaku came in and scored 12 in 16 for Arsenal, although it was not enough to win them the title, next season could be a problem.
