Hello, my name is Alex and I've been playing FM for around 4 years now, and using this site for about 2 years now. Now after reading everyone's stories, I wanted to start my own.

This has been inspired by a story I saw yesterday that was based in China, and after living in the city of Tianjin for 5 years I wanted to start my first story on this site with a team I grew a love of with my time in China.

My goals of this save will be first to take Tianjin to Asian Champions League glory with an attempt at winning the Club World Cup.

Eventually I will have graphics and I will attempt to have a story-line for this save but at the moment this is just an intro to The Tianjin Tale, I hope you guys enjoy following the story as much as I enjoy playing it.
Good luck. If I remember correctly you don't so much get money to burn with them than million dollar checks to burn

Ninjaskill - They're loaded, which is weird after signing players like Fredy Montero.

Justice - Thanks man, afyer using this site for 2 years I felt it was about time to sign up.

A Background to Tianjin Teda

Tianjin Teda were formed in 1998 under their current name, but have been around since 1951 under other names.

They are based in the major port city of Tianjin and play at the 54,000 capacity Tianjin Olympic Centre which is a fantastic stadium for a team based in China.

They have a major rivalry with Beijing Guoan, as they were originally 1 team but were split into 2 to create the North China Derby.

Tianjin Teda only being 18 years old, have yet to win many trophies, but so far in their short history they have won 1 Chinese FA Cup in 2011 and the Chinese Jia League in 1998.

My aim is to make them the most successful team in Asia, and one of the biggest teams in the world should that be possible. This will be a long term save and I hope you guys enjoy following the story with me.

Key Players of Tianjin Teda

Montero is a new signing at Tianjin Teda after signing from Sporting Lisbon. He is currently only 27 years old so can have a long career here at Tianjin should he decide to stay. He currently holds the goalscoring record for Seattle Sounders.

Wagner is not someone I'm a fan of, but is one of our best players. At the age of 29, he is someone I will look to replace when his contract with us expires.

Junior is an absolute bargain for the club and a quality centre back for this level. He is currently worth 6 million and is only being paid £425 a week. He is someone that I shall look to keep at the club for the forseeable future.

The rest of the squad is a mix of youth and experience which is what I like to have in a squad, but overall I'm happy with the squad I have here and there shouldn't be many changes in the first season. Realistically I think we have a good chance of qualifying for the Asian Champions League, it mostly relies on Montero's form, but if we miss out on Champions League I will still be very happy with a Top Half finish, considering the dominance of Guangzhou Evergrande, Jiangsu and Shanggang. But I hope with the team I currently have at my disposal, I can bring success to the city of Tianjin.

Tianjin Teda Announce Kits for the New Season.

Home Kit

Away Kit

Overall I'm very pleased with how these kits have turned out, I tried to make them similar to Tianjin's kits in real life, but made some subtle changes that makes the kits look nicer as a result.
That CB's wage is extraordinary, how is he happy there?! Some nice kits too.
Soze - I know right, it's amazing how he can survive on that wage considering after tax it's only £325 a week.
That centre back must really love it here hahah! Best of luck mate will be following
BeanyUnited - He must be homeless on that wage and cheers man.
Good start here mate and some nice kits also, I will be following!

Griffo - Thanks for the kind words mate

Wagner leaves the club by mutual consent

Wagner today announced he was homesick at Tianjin Teda and wanted to go back to his home country of Brazil and has therefore left the club by mutual consent. This leaves a gap in the team that I need to fill quickly in order to remain a competitive team in the league.
