Hello and welcome to my new save (Al-Ahli file corrupt) in which I'll be taking over the reigns at LA Galaxy where I will try and continue their dominance of the USA and hopefully win their first ever CONCACAF Champions League since it was revamped.

There will be a storyline to this save, but I just wanted to get this thread started so I can plan a storyline to it.

I hope this save doesn't corrupt and I can actually remain playing it until Fm17 is released, I hope you guys enjoy following this save with me.

LA Galaxy Appoint legend Landon Donovan as manager

'I'm delighted to come and manage the club I've supported since I was kid. I love this team and I want to make them the best they can be. I'm going to give my all for this club and I promise the fans they will see more trophies than they've seen before at this club.'

The fans were clearly delighted with Donovan's appointment as 16,000 fans were welcomed to the Stubhub Centre to welcome the legend back to the club.

Can Donovan continue LA Galaxy's run of dominance or will he have to fight to remain the best club in the USA?

Ninjaskill - Yeah it will be tough but I'm always up for a challenge. Once I get a better striker than Robbie Keane I reckon I could win it

Gerrard announces retirement at the end of the 2016 season

'I've know I've just come to this club, but after my 2 year contract here I plan to retire from football so I can be with my family. I would like to take up a coaching role after my retirement, whether it be here or with Liverpool, we'll see. But I'm committed to playing for LA Galaxy for the next 2 years and I'm going to give my all for this club, and I want to win everything I can with this club.'

This is not the best start to Landon Donovan's reign as manager, but who will he find to replace Gerrard in the future and more importantly, would he take Gerrard as a coach at the club?

Donovan announces no new signings for the first season.

'I'm currently happy with the players I've got, I know all these guys very well, and I'm looking forward to getting to know Giovani Dos Santos. With him and Robbie upfront, I have no doubt we will be challenging for trophies next season. But who knows, next season there could be a complete overhaul, It depends on how much money the board let me play with. One thing is for sure though, I will turn the club I love into a dominant force in world football.'

The LA Galaxy fans seem to agree that the current squad does not need improving and it would be silly to waste money at this point in time. But Donovan won't keep them happy for long if he refuses to spend money later on in his career.
Good to see you'll be working with what you have, you certainly have enough strength in your squad to challenge for the top spot!
