On the 8th of May 2008, Antonio and Franca Gines gave birth to their only child Aitor Gines in Terrassa, Spain. At age 12, Aitor lost his father and his mother decided to move them to Barcelona where her brother lived. Aitor immediately fell in love with FC Barcelona club legend Lionel Messi's style of play.
In March, 2023 at the age of 14 FC Barcelona scouts already knew what Aitor could become and brought him into he famous FC Barcelona B team to learn. He was obviously the youngest member of the team and therefore he couldn't get any game time in his first year.
