Hi all!

I need to send some players out on loan, mainly my youth, to get some first team experience. I have had a non league team drafted up as they are closest to Millwall in location.

I would normally go for Dulwich but im guessing other factors such as facilities come into play when sending players out on loan. I am after advice in what to look out for when sending players out on loan and how to get the best out of the players once at their new club.

Here are the teams that i have been linked with if you're interested.

Dulwich Hamlet
Ebbsfleet
Chelmsford
Woking
Dag & Red

Thanks in advance,

Jay
Hey man, yeah there's various things you should look out for when looking at affiliates.

Standard of training facilities, junior coaching, and youth facilities are all really important, so you need to find the best place that provides those out of the 4 teams.

You also need to find a team where the players are likely to be playing regular football, starting games and playing well, but make sure the division isn't too easy or the players are likely to turn down the loan move.

Lastly, have a nose at the coaching staff, if they have a great backroom it can help with the training the player does whilst at the affiliate.

Hope this helped,

Thank you Atoobie!

That was exactly what i was after. I mean before hand i just looked at facilities and that was it, i think i have been lucky with a few players in the past with sending them out on loan.

I'll have to look much further into it than i once though.

Many thanks mate.

Jay
