Redditch United!!!

I am a new member, so pls forgive me for any mistakes...

Ive been playin fm since 07.Usually its just Chelsea(The number One Club in the World:yes)
I read one of the stories by Joannes3000 on how he handled Newport County and Escuela Carlos Sarmiento Lora. This kinda inspired me to start a career of my own with a small club.

Since I hav only played in England I just picked the smallest club I could find there - Redditch United. They are in the Blue Square North League(Semi Professional) in England.

As you can see the squad is pathetic :weep...
The media prediction is 17th and board expects me to avoid relegation.To do even that I would hav to make a major squad overhaul...

At this point avoidin relegation was only a dream.

I tried a game with Redditch at the start of FM10. My advice get as many players as you can on frees and cross your fingers. Got to about January and gave up. Its a good challenge though, i'll reattempt it someday

I hav finished my freindlies...already signed 7 new players and am biddin for atleast another 7...:D

Freindlies!!! and 9 of them..

1st was a comfortable win against my reserves.

next was a draw against Torquay, which we equalised in added time...I was really pleased bcos they were a really good team.

my first loss came against Dorchester .Another draw with St.Albans.

the next 3 matches were all victories...we are in hot form goin in to the start of the season.

As of now 7 players in and 3 out...some of them hav rediculous salaries!!!:dontgetit
