Activating the IGA

I have a licensed FMSE and I wanted to try out the IGA but I cannot see any hidden stats on my players attribute screens.
I pointed at my user data folder, I have tried at the top level
C:\Users\Gary\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017
and at the games folder under that.
I used preferences in FM to clear the cache, reloaded in FMSE and I cant see stats like CA and PA.

Make sure you go to the player "Attributes" screen, and you can see the hidden stats on the right hand side of the screen.

I did follow those instructions which is how I knew to clear the cache and which folder to point at and do the tick box.
Is the folder path just to find my save games folder or is there a particular file that needs to be in there so I can make sure I have the setup that is expected?
I looked at the player attributes and I do not have the player hidden attributes on the right.

I know I am probably doing something daft but I do not know what.

Well, I had to make sure before we go any further

You need to point it to the root of the Football Manager folder.
For example, if your saved games are in
C:\Users\hitower\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017\games

then you need to point it to
C:\Users\hitower\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2017

after changing the folder, un-tick and re-tick the IGA checkbox to make sure all required files are installed properly.

Also, you need to make sure that in the game's preferences, you don't have the Player Attributes page as the player landing page.

OK thanks for your help but installing the latest version seems to have made it work so maybe whatever I did incorrectly I did not do the second time:-)
