Little bit of help on choosing a club?. And solving a prob!

Right I have a small bit of a situation! I keep starting new games on fm 2010 as i always seem 2 do lately! I had 1 game save that i went over the year with and that was with blackpool! I need a suggestion on a club if possible but i also have another problem I always want to try play a game without cheating with the editor but i keep getting drawn towards using it! Any ideas on how to manage to not get drawn into cheating? I done it once and thoroughly enjoyed it but havent been able to do it since!

I find that starting with a lower league team is not my sort of game in my opinion. I like going with a top division team who's odds are against them, it provides a challenge and lets your side grow to the top. In my save I used Hull as they have a media prediction of 20th and its a good battle. then i progressed trying to get to better clubs instead of starting a new game to go straight there, its more fun. As for the using scout utilies no-one can help you just delete it off your computer and try not to use if you really don't want any help. Stick to it is the important thing

Yeah im gonna av a luk at the highlights! Yeah i started with hull after! Im just gonna take things really slow! spent ages doing up my tactics! signed rodriguez as a back up to geovanni and took gibson in on loan to give my midfield another option! Won me 3 friendlies 3-0 3-1 4-0! Im thinking about getting sol campbell aswell as another option what do you think? Thanks for yer help and all!:D

You'll need somebody to replace Jozy Altidore at the end of the season as he is on loan. I got Jo for £5.5m in season 2. Sol Campbell is good in the short term so try to offload after 1st season. Ghilas is a good player and Jimmy Bullard is really good at free kicks. At the moment try to sign players with experience and are good in the short-term because its a tough season ahead.

Help you with cheating??? Haha, thats a good one...Since i discovered that you can load your game and play the same match over and over again (i discovered that when i was 12, but i started to play at age of 10, and yes I am ashamed of it) I can't stop doing that but i don't use any scouts and utilities...

but yes, delete all editors and stuff, it will make considerable difference, but it takes real mind control and determination to really stop cheating, I tried really hard, and i still do but from time to time I have to cheat, it's in human nature to try to trick the system....but in the end I like to cheat

I know what you mean with the reloading the game, had a habit of restrting everytime I lost too often, but ever since i resisted not reloading a fa cup final with spurs. now i don't reload and accept defeat. I find its much better, in a weird kind of way

I had the same thing, I always cheated (also with the editor) but since FM 2010 I stopped and it just feels a lot better when you win leagues or big matches :yes

Yeap I know, I won the cl with Leverkusen without cheating and I felt great and proud for my lads at the same time (2-1 won Chelsea in Allianz Arena).

However, I do cheat with finance stuff, i.e. decrease players' contracts or raise for a while the wage budget (only in extreme cases*), in order to sign the players I want.

*I was missing Eur 3m to buy Zapata and Udinese did not accept any offers (even 50% of the next sale or profit, weird!), so I had no choice, but to raise for a while the wage budget and then decrease it again.
