The key file is essential for your 'g' edition to work properly. Without it, the data you load won't have real names, positions, and so on.

The key file is specific to your unique ID.

Remember that your key file will only work for the unique ID you provided to Eugene during donation.

If you upgrade Windows or change computer, the key file won't work.

If that happens, you DON'T have to donate again. Simply email Eugene, explain your situation and pass him your new unique ID; he will provide a new key file for you.

My key don't work, why?
The only possible reason for that is explained above (upgrade Windows or change/format computer).
Sure? i have the free version and the G version. I only have the problem in the G version. The free version is working fine....

I've changed laptop and my key doesn't work anymore so i've emailed and private messaged Eugene but no reply...

Does anyone knows how long does he take to answer to these issues?

i have the same problem here. what can we do. i send mail but no one answer. the problem starts after format my pc
As explained in the opening post, the Unique ID will change if you change or upgrade your computer. Formatting also has the same result.

You need to send an email to Eugene to explain this and also pass him your new Unique ID. He will provide you with a new key file.

Normally he responds to his emails at least once a day (in the morning). Please be patient with that. If after 2 days you haven't heard back, message me and I'll try my best to contact him for you.
