Clube Desportivo Santa Clara is a Portuguese football club from Ponta Delgada, Azores. They play in the 13,277-seat Estádio de São Miguel that is eligible for UEFA Champions League and Europa League games.

To date, Santa Clara is the only club from the Azores islands to have competed in the top division of the Portuguese Liga, being thus the western most top-flown club in Europe, since they fly whenever it's an away match. just Picture the Fatigue!

They compete in the Ledman Pro, the Portuguese second football league

Santa Clara's current kit manufacturer is Nike and their main sponsors are Santander Totta, Açoreana Seguros, and of course the Turistic brand AÇORES.

Main rivals are CD Operário from Lagoa (local rivals that play in the 3rd league called Campeonato de Portugal de Seniors) and the other major rivals are C.S. Marítimo and C.D. Nacional, from the island of Madeira which both play in the first league. Liga NOS

In real life the club has suffered from a bad presidency and a couple of shady deals that led to a huge debt close to 8 Million Euros. Happily the portuguese law and justice dealt with it.
Now we have a new President that is looking for the future and so far he is doing things like they are suposed to be done.

This is where reality ends.
My goal with this Fm17 save is to try to manage that debt, and bring glory to the best Azorean team in Portugal. why? because it's my team. And i know we can get side by side with the great ones in LIGA NOS.

This is my story as a manager. This is where my life begins!

Hope you enjoyed it! Let me know if you want to hear more about this amazing club!!

cheers!
