***Here goes nothing. Before i get in to my story i would like to add a small disclaimer. This will be the first time that i have started a story so all support and feedback is kindly welcomed. i do not know exactly how everything works so if i make a mistake i apologise. But lets do this.***

Barcelona... What has gone wrong. The domination they had for many many years has come to an end with Real Madrid becoming the bigger powerhouse. Madrid have won back to back Champions leagues and Barcelona fell short in the league last year. It has not just been bad on the pitch but off of it, it has become worse. Neymar has just left for PSG after they fail to secure Verratti and PSG launch a counter. Now after losing back to back to Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup more bad news hits....

Ernesto Valverde steps down right before the end of the season stating 'It was a great opportunity but it has been increasingly hard with how the squad has been handled. The squad is thin and i have not been given the tools i need to rebuild'

Can it get any worse?

Who will step in and save Barcelona?

After days of speculation on who would take over Barcelona a press conference is held at 19:45 at the Nou Camp.

'We would like to announce that Antonio Maneres-Johnas will take Barcelona forward for the upcoming season'

Who was this man what had he done to be in this position. Antonio would lead with an iron fist and had demanded that he is able to run the club his way.

Antonio's demands were :

- To have full control over signings.
- All money from Neymar deal + Extra.
- A bumber 95k a week contract.
- To be made unsackable for first two seasons.
- Control over out goings in the squad.

This was a man who knew how to get what he wanted and made sure that he had all the tools to turn Barcelona back to its domination days.

***Press Conference***

Reporter: Antonio how are you going to turn this all around with the season approuching very quick?

Antonio: I plan on shaking things up ,there is a Barcelona way and its fell short recently at the club.

Reporter: That comment could put your players on high alert wont it. Do you not think you are already unsettling the team?

Antonio: No. Not at all, And if a player is unsettled then he is part of the problem. Like i said its fallen short and its time for change if you are slacking in my team your not in it.

Reporter: Zinedine Zidan has come out today and said that he has no worries with Barcelona next season have you got anything to say?

Antonio: Zidan can say what he likes. Talk its cheap and in a buissness where your talking is done on the pitch he needs to worry about his own team.

Reporter: Thank you, That is all.

The shake up begins:

Thomas Vermalen Inter Milan (5,000,000)

Douglas Las Palmas (2,000,000)

Gerard Deulofue Stoke (10,000,000)

Munir - Leicester (11,000,000)

Jorge Mere 10,000,000 (30kpw)

Eden Hazard 90,000,000 (300kpw)

Emre Can 35,000,000 (90kpw)

Players coming in and out of the squad, is Antonio finished or could there be any more signings round the corner.

*** Next update with pre season results***

Good start mate, glad you didnt sign Coutinho though ;)
Thank you! I did look at him would have been cheaper aswell but Hazard was the choice.

Pre season has come to an end and it has been average at best:

Inter Milan (H) 3-0 Suarez,Denis Suarez,Munir

VFL Osanbruck (A) 6-0 Turan x2,Umtiti,Messi x2,Suarez

Hamberg SV (A) 3-0 Suarez,Messi,Rakitic

Bayern Leverkusen (A) 0-0

Bayern Munchen (A) 0-3 (Not a great showing)

Breaking News:

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has agreed personal terms with Barcelona on a 4 year deal earning £250kpw.
The transfer fee is 90million set to rise to 94. New assistant manager Van Basten has come out and said 'It is a great signing for us.
Antonio wanted to add more quality and he has done that. The new season is very close and we are ready'

Barcelona have raided some of the best talent from the Premier league in hope that they can get the edge on rivals Madrid.

The Squad:

https://gyazo.com/e8ff304848b23800d375524dfdcdb56b

The team has had quality added to it and some deadwood has gone out. Neymar has been replaced with the more than capable Eden Hazard, Iniesta is getting on so would rotate well with KDB.
Emre Can adds some steel in to the middle and can recycle possesion. Jorge Mere a youngster who is able to to fill in as rotation who also has decent potential.

*** This is just a small update to what will be going on for the fixtures. I will be doing them 10 games at a time in updates and they will start from the next update***
Take a look at some of the other people's stories and take ideas from them is what I suggest. With a few bits of coding, you will have a very appealing story. :)

De Bruyne will set Barcelona alight I am sure!
De Bruyne will be some singing indeed. Can't wait for the next update, good luck!

After weeks of pursuit AS Monaco's Kylian Mbappe has left. AS Monaco are said to be launching a complaint to UEFA after Mbappe went on strike amid rummors of Barcelona's tapping up of the 17 year old.
Mbappe has joined the Catalan giants for 28 Million which is a steal for such a great young talent. Mbappe had this to say 'When you get that call from your agent about Barcelona you dont say no. I had to hand in a request to leave because Monaco were not allowing me to go, I couldnt have this. The first months of the season prove to be very good for Barcelona and Antonio. The Champions League draw was very kind but first two games results havent been up to standard.
The new signings have settled in very well coming up with some great performances Eden Hazard stands out as a great bit of buissness with 3 goals and 5 assists.

The player of the month will have to be Lionel Messi, He has been man of the match 4 times over the last month and has scored 8 and laid off 1 assist. Congratulations Lionel Messi

**Next update soon**
Looks like the League is no problem for you! Champions League you're getting the results, but it looks like it's not all sparkling just yet.
Slipping up against Las Palmas must have been disappointing but solid beside that.

Kylian Mbappe :O 16 goals against Malaga, depor and levante is some return even for barca
