Well the first one I will tell you about is Ivan Rakitic, sure you are all familiar with him. Well got him for Celtic for free at the end of the 3rd season. At the January point he was dominating the SPL with midfield partner Diego Souza. At Madrid made an enquiry, I said, £7.5m and £10m over so many months. He moved shortly after. I replaced him with Van Der Vaart, transfer listed at £0 asking price, he has recently become unhappy and looking to move and on the verge of a £9.75m up front move to Hull.

With the money from Rakatic I brought in Dzagoev, so my midfield is Souza and Dzagoev, the latter paying an attacking role. I am looking for someone to who can spray balls from the midfield, a player like Xavi, Xabi Alonso or Carrick. I gave Rakatic the chance to stay and he turned it down, and Van Der Vaart got pissy because I wouldn't let him leave. Souza and Dzagoev are playing out of their skin just now. My stiker partnership is unmatched in anything, Altidore and Acquafresca. Acquafresca has 88 goals in 90 games, I will admit it's the SPL but non the less. I also signed Bentley on a free.
Van der vaart on a free is not a bad deal if the wages are reasonable, but he is getting pretty old, maybe look into someone like jonjo shelvey/toni kroos/marek hamsik for AMC, all pretty young at the start of the game and you can use that money to get a rising star
They are all very expensive, maybe not shelvey but I want a midfielder who can spray the bal; from the midfield, like Carrick
