Hey folks, been working on a tactic to incorporate a WP and looking for advice for the player on the other flank, playing in a more advanced AM position.

This is the rest of the tactic (the midfield can be mirrored depending on your players). Generally playing on Control and Fluid although can be adjusted depending on opposition and how the match is playing out.

GK

FB (S) DC (D) DC (D) FB (S)
A (D)
AP (A) BBM (S) WP (A)
AMR??
CF (S)

I have been playing an IF in the?? Position but finding they can be isolated and get 6.5 ratings and very few goals. I feel a winger may be better but have always tended to use If and felt be would be better support for the lone striker. Thoughts and suggestions please....

Also, any other info you want let me know...
Have you thought about adjusting the RB, playing them as a wingback to control the entire flank? That would free up the need to use an AMR on the wing to give width. If you wanted you could then tuck them in as a right of centre AMC, playing as a trequarista, support striker or similarly creative outlet?

Alternatively I've had a lot of joy playing one striker in the central, traditional lone striker role as an AF (A) and another off set as a f9. The f9 would drop into space, occupying wide slots as needed but predominantly remaining in and around the hole between ST and AMC/R.

Just a thought.

By WP do you mean a winger, wide midfield or what? Don't recognize the acronym.
