Not sure anyone can help me but everytime I download Genie Scout this message comes up and tells me that I need to download the file from the right website (which is this website). But the website it tells me to viste is the website I'm downloading the file from (this website) it's all very confusing! :dontgetit
The actual program opens up but when I try and load a game file I also get the message "unknown database version 1404" now I've seen someone else has had this but I've made sue the file is uncompressed and I've also tried using the orginal game with no updates and I still get it!?
Any help would be very grateful thanks
If you're using 10.3, Genie Scout is not yet compactible with 10.3. Just wait Eugene announces when the Genie Scout is compactable

No defo not using 10.3 tried going back to the orginal 10.0 and still getting the same problem. these are the two messages I'm getting
It's confusing mate.
You're getting the corrupted error but still the program opens afterwards?
And when you try to load a game, you get the 1404 error?
Genie v1.0 works with compressed save games as well.
Can you try patch 10.2 and tell us what happens?
I know I'm sooo confused! I've tried removing it totally and then redownloading it but I still get the same problem.
I have now tried a compressed file and using the 10.2 patch and I still get the same thing.
The other thing is that when I first downloaded it. It did work and then stopped working.
Remove everything again, try downloading v1.0 from this link:

I'm not sure what's wrong on your end, though normally the app works fine and I don't remember other guys reporting this corrupted type of error before.
I have the same problem with 1404 unknown database.
And that is even if i start a game ind version 10.0 or 10.2.
But startet a nott count game in 10.0 it worked with genie scout, but a game with danish FC copenhagen didnt work. It is very wierd, and no one can help
i have the same problem too but i feel it is cos i still have 10.3 downloaded on my game cos the game i have saved before i downladed new patch stil works fine
i thing you are right, but how do i uinstall patch 10.3, because i have steam so do not know how to do
I'm getting the error telling me that the file is corrupted and that i should download it again from fmscout.com. Not a big deal, because i click ok and it works perfectly fine - but smyalls isn't the only one experiencing it.
