Couldn't find a topic where this sort of thing was asked but if there is I'm sorry for the duplicate. I'm in the process of looking for a new laptop within my price range of £300-£500. I found this one and was wondering if it would be up to running FM 2010? Im not particualrly bothered for the 3D match engine though it would be a bonus if I could view it.

Compaq CQ61-427SA
AMD Athlon Dual Core M320 2.1GHz 1MB Cache
4GB RAM
320GB HDD
15.6" HD TFT
ATI Mobiility Radeon HD4200
Windows 7 Premium 64 Bit

I usually only run the full English leagues from Blue Square North/South up to the Premier League. Would this laptop handle it at a decent speed?
not sure wether windows 7 supports fm 10 yet.but other specs will be ok.
I am running FM10 on a laptop that has very similar specs. I can also view the 3D match pretty well so get ready for your bonus :)).... I am running fm10 patched till 10.3 on win7 without a problem so you should not have any problems..

you may need to wait till Genie Scout gets updated to run on the latest patch to be able to enjoy that too.. the laptop's price may go down, you never know! :))
FM2010 runs perfectly in Win7.
I have similar spec laptop, samsung, better graphics card, paid 599 and was upposed to come with free upgrade to win7, bought it last july from argos having shopped around.
i run FM10 patched to 10.3 and run all scotland including lower leagues and all england to level 10, works fine for me!
Thanks guys, the laptop is on it's way!
