mine is a samsung r519 upgraded to a r522, got it from argos last year for £599, the r519 is £499, the r522 is still same price but has a better processor and windows 7 now, i'm more than happy, i run england to level 10 and scotland including lower leagues and its quick, also have played with up to 6 countries and still quick, and the 3d engine is good as well.
you get what you pay for but aim for a dual core 2ghz processor at least with minimum 2gb ram and as big a hard drive as u can afford, also make sure it has a good graphics card.

im not a computer bug so dont quite now what any that stuff means but if yours works it great i will look at getting the 512 if im allowed
they all win run fine on those pc's.

now a days you need at least 2gb of ram, at least a 2ghz dual core CPU and a 512mb graphic card(but FM can be run on low graphic settings if you dont have a strong enough graphic card).
I have the Satellite Pro L450D. much performance. if the drivers are up to date
