Improving small nation's regens

Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody has any tips, or knows if its even possible, to improve the regens that a small nation gets over time?

Previously, I've just gone into the editor and improved the youth recruitment, coaching and facilities of each club, but in 19 I want to challenge myself to do this without the editor!

Does winning international tournaments/increasing the nations FIFA ranking help in anyway?

It's a tough one mate, from my experience with lesser nations it will never get to the stage where clubs will produce good regens consistently. If the clubs have better facilities ultimately that'll help in terms of players having a better chance to reach their potential but I don't think you can take a nation such as San Marino and have them producing good young players at the rate of a Brazil, Portugal etc.

The nation and particularly the main domestic league and the clubs in it doing well will help but as I said, it's very difficult to get a smaller nation with a smaller population producing many if any potential top class regens
