I still cannot even get to the error bit.

No matter how many times I double click the FM Scout icon, the software won't load!

Help!

I am running XP home edition.
Cioro : I did a test, with games started with 10.2 database and saved on 10.3 it works properly, but with games started with 10.3 we had the same error "Person Data seems to corrupt"
I hope there will be a solution for the problem!

Exactly the same one.
Is Eugene going to fix this problem? What must we do? Waiting? Or playing on 10.2 databse? Please, tell us, Stam!
Even though I'm on vacation, I tested it for myself. It worked for my saved game from 10.2 that was updated to 10.3, but throws an error for a game started with 10.3 (like Cioro said above).

So, this means v1.1 just fixed the problem for the ones updated to 10.3 but still using a save game started with 10.2 or earlier.
It also seems there is an issue with compressed save games again (which was solved in RC2 and v1.0).

I cannot promise you when a new Genie Scout version will come out, but I believe Eugene wouldn't want to leave a final version with major issues. Thus, I'm in no position to tell you whether to wait for a quick new version or play on 10.2. I didn't get an email reply yet, but he has been informed. I repeat: as soon as I have anything new from Eugene, I will share.

Sorry for the inconvenience guys, I would have hoped my vacation to be more quiet and calm, but mistakes happen; it's just human.

I've got the same error on my Windows 7 based PC.

Keep waiting, this should be a little bug and must be fixed tonight.
thanks for keeping us up to date on your vacation stam, really appreciate, good guy
Thank you, Stam!

This may have been already mentioned, but I believe the error mentioned here is if you're using a modified database? E.g. I downloaded English Leagues Levels 7 & 8 from a Football Manager forum, and when loading this database in the new Genie Scout, I get the following:

"Error loading entity number: 30"
"File Position: 12851654"
"Database Version: 1404"

"RelType: 14"

However when loading another 10.3 save of mine that uses the official 10.3 database, Genie Scout works fine
