Times have been hard for Everton in recent years and the club will now be looking for there 6 manager since David Moyes moved to Manchester united in 2013. Moshiri has come out and said there are a number of people lined up for interveiws to take the head coach job and they will find a suitable candidate before pre season starts.

STATEMENT FROM MOSHIRI

"We realise that the announcement of Silva resigning has come as a shock to our fans and we are doing our upmost to have a replacement in as soon as possible unit a replacement is found David Unsworth will once again be taking charge of the first team. We are working day and night to have a replacement in before the start of pre-season so that David can continue his work with the U23 squad.

TAKING OVER THE TOFFEES?

With the departure of Marco Silva we now have a list of the favourites for the everton job.

FRANK DE BOER
The former Palace manager had a very short stint in the premier league only managing the eagles for 5 games picking up 1 win and 4 defeats his best spell as a manager came at Ajax where he won 4 dutch champions and 1 dutch super cup to make things a little bit sweeter for the toffees he also turned down the Liverpool job in 2012.

EDDIE HOWE
Always rumoured to be the next Everton manager Howe, a supporter of the club has done great things for a very young manager taking Bournmouth from league 1 to the Premiership in in 3 seasons.

David Moyes
A possible return to Goodison Park for Moyes who is currently unemployed since leaving West Ham after just 6 months in charge despite leading the hammers to Premier league survival. Moyes enjoyed a long stint at everton from 2002 to 2013 where he guided the toffees to 3 UEFA Europa League qualifications 1 F.A Cup final and a 4th place finish.

CLAUDIO RANIERI
Claudio has a number of different cups under his belt his most recent? The Premier League am sure you all remember when he led little Leicester City who had just avoided relegation the season before to the title in an extraordinary year for football, unfortunately he was sacked less than a year after winning the title.

4 candidates for the everton job who do you think is most likely

WELCOME HOME

We are today pleased to announce hard hitting dane Thomas Gravesen as the head coach. Gravesen signed in 2000 and quickly went on to be a fan favourite playing a 141 times and scoring 11 goals although not known for his goal scoring more his rough no nonsense style of play. If anybody can make a team play just so they dont have to face his wrath at full time its him.

PRE-SEASON + PRINCE RUPERTS CUP

Gravesen gets blues fireing in first 4 pre-season games with 3 wins and a draw as Calvert-Lewin looks one fire with 6 goals.

Moshiri and Gravesen are also pleased to announce a new pre-season tournement coming to goodison park that will be named Prince Ruperts Cup Everton, RB Salzburg, Slavia Pruage and Viktoria Plzen will take part in the competition

Oumar Niasse has joined Dynamo Kyiv for a fee of £5 million potentially rising to £6.25. Niasse joined Everton from Lokamotiv Moskow for around £14 million in the 2015/16 season. He went on to make 27 appearances scoring 8 times for the blues and had a loan at Hull City. Niasse was unable to hit the grounf running in England but will hope to find scoring ways over in the Ukraine

PRINCE RUPERTS CUP

EVERTON VS SLAVIA PRAGUE

Milan Skoda fired Prague in to a very early lead in the first minute when a long ball over the top lead him one on one with Stekelenburg which he calmly placed under the everton goal keeper in to the bottom corner.

Everton responded 35 minuets in with a switched ball from Richarlison found Walcott who showed his pace as he darted through the defencive line rifling one home for the blues

What was a very boring game looked to be heading for a 1-1 unitl Lookman brought on as a sub in the 63rd minute was brought down in the area, only 12 yards and Vladamir Bina stood between Sigurdsson and an Everton lead but the Icelanding international wasnt phased as he sent the keeper the wrong way and gace everton the lead.

90 minuets in and Everton looked sure to be heading to the final when an over streched Kurt Zouma brought down Skoda in the area Josef Husbauer had no problem slotting the ball in the bottom corner to take it to a shootout

Everton went on to win the shootout 5-4 despite loan signing Andre Gomes smashing the first penalty over the bar.

EVERTON VS VIKTORIA PLZEN

It took 20 minutes of Everton pounding away at the Viktoria Plzen goal before eventually find the back of the net through Adoma Lookman who latched on to a brilliant through ball from Tosun smashing it past Kozacik.

Everton spent most of the game on top without any end product unit the 82 minute when substitute Bernard smashed one home it wasnt long before he grabbed another with only 2 minutes to go Everton where 3-0 up.

Everton went on to lift the Prince Ruperts Cup with Plzen in 2nd place, Prague in 3rd and RB Liepzig in last who didnt manage to score a single goal all tournament.
Everton look in good stride as the season draws ever closer but thats all for the PRC join us again next year.

MORGAN HAPPY TO SELL YOU

Gravesen yesterday announced that the future of Morgan Schneiderlin isnt a safe one as he told the play he was going to be transfer listed as he couldnt see a future for him at the club. Schneiderlin signed for Everton in the 2016/17 January window for £21million and has gone on to make 44 appearances for the club, he has so far only played in one pre-season friendly and has spent most time training with the U23 sqaud there are rumours of interested from Burnley and Spanish club Celta Vigo if a bid materialises you'll here it here first.

PRE SEASONS MAN OF THE MOMENT

Dominic Calvert-Lewin showed us just what he is made of in pre season with 7 goals in 7 appearances pushing for a first team place is defiantly on his mind this season, Signed from Sheffield United for a fee of £1.5 million in 2016 Calvert-Lewin will be hoping this is his season at the toffees.

Bernard signed on a free from Shakhtar also had a good pre-season scoring the 2 goals that secured Everton the Prince Rupert cup and also 4 assists over pre season
Gravesen is not fondly remembered by LFC fans, but hopefully he can have a big impact here! Calvert-Lewin could well be a star for you!
Good start, keep it up and best of luck with Everton.

CHRIS REED
Is anyone else really worried about the news coming out of finch farm?

LUKE EVENS
Oh no please dont tell me its true!!!!

LUCY WHITE
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

REESE BULL
Great news! NOT!

FRANK FULLER
Right before the season starts are you kidding me!

TRAINING OR TORTURE

Bad news for everton fans today as a number of first team players are injured right before the start of the season.
    Bernard-pulled calf
    Gana-bruised thigh
    Walcott-strained knee ligaments
    Davies-twisted ankle

will rule all players out for the game against Manchester City in four days time.
Four very good players out injured, not what you'd want!
Gana Gueye could be a really big blow! Is a very good central midfielder, something you will desperately need coming up against Manchester City
