Stadiums Graphics

How can I change the appearence of a stadium which has no corner stands? It has only the side big stands. Is there an xml file? No matter the Capacity I set it still looks that way..

me too have the same problem, and some stadiums of portugal clubs, has no corners and in reality have like porto benfica e sporting etc

Do they get those corner stands in the Save after your board expands the stadium or it stays like this even after expansion?

You can't edit stadiums unfortunately, other than capacities. They are 'built' using templates from within the game graphics and are pretty random I think.

The templates used are based on capacity, so less than 5000, 5000-10000 etc.

In order to get corner stands you will need to break one of the capacity thresholds but some grounds just seem to get taller and taller stands.

It is something that users have been asking for for years from SI, but because of licensing and Intellectual Property rights it is something SI have avoided.

Thank you I was frustrated searching everywhere for this, and indeed Panetolikos stadium (my greek team) even if I edit its capacity to 50000 it just shows taller stands. No corners, hope they change it soon.

For FM 18 there was a fan-made add-on that if installed, improved the design of he stadiums. I know a couple of people struggled to get it to work though (me included) , although it seemed to focus on lower league, smaller grounds as in FM18 the lowest was 10,000 capacity. FM19 has templates for 5,000 and below now.

Search around a bit, there might an FM19 one available.
Stadium realism is something people have been complaining bout for years though, hopefully it will get better, but SI, I think, are more focused on improving the actual gameplay.
