XML parsing error!

not well-formed (invalid token)at line 1 of full_window.xml

how do i get rid of this?
have you installed latest patch?
when did you get this error?
are you running serie c in your save game?
yes i have the newest patch

i deleted all saved games in a bid to try and fix it
if you've got a shortcut to fm on your desktop. right click properties, where it says target: "....\fm.exe" add this to the end after the " --reset_preferences
worked fine for me when the same error occured two hours ago :P just have to edit your settings again when you start the game. AND REMEMBER TO REMOVE IT FROM YOUR SHORTCUT AFTER STARTING UP FIRST TIME. so you don't have to edit your setting everytime you start the game.

edit: seems like the last 3 versions have had this problem, as when i google it it comes solution for fixing it for fm2008,09&10...
where it says target it just says "football manager" and it won't allow me to click into the box. . .
i deleted the whole game and everything with it

then re-installed it and downloaded the new patch, whilst it was updating it came up with this error:

"Error creating update file - C:\program file\sports interactive\football manager 2010\data\sigfx\meshes\stadium\5-10,000\a\long_terrace_shader.png

Error 0x000004C8 - The request operation cannot be performed on a file with a user-mapped section open"

FML.
Thank you for this solution.
Any idea what causes it?
