FM Genie Scout 10 v1.11 build 116 unable to load problem fixed

mastodon : yayyy finally works !!!! but i install the whole stuff from adobe which is Adobe Flash Player 10 Update for Flash CS4 Professional...@ http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html . i tried the first step but nothings changed so i figure i install all these stuff up and now it works like a charm. yayyy....

1. Refer me to the post you saw someone having better luck using GS ad-free edition over the regular one, when he had problem with crash/freeze and NOT with loading issues. Nonetheless, I still don't have any official indication as to if ad-free version works better.

3. You are free to assume anything you wish mate, the last I know from Eugene is that he's working on it. When I receive an email from him regarding his progress on GS, I'll let you guys know.

4. I was almost certain that it would never work until we had a new version, but someone found a workaround by updated flash active x and now most people are able to use it.

1 question how did you find that the flash is causing the problem?

Not working for me either, looks like I'm in the unlucky minority...

I've updated my flash player, but that doesn't make difference and when I do what the OP suggests nothing happens, so sorry if I'm being thick, but what exactly do I need to do?

An added complication is I'm in Cambodia and download speeds are very bad, usually below 1 kbps, so I want to make sure I download the right thing.

Not moaning, how can you moan about an awesome free application, just want to know how to make it work.

I updated to Flash 10 and Genie Scout continued to ignore me. I then went through control panel - add/remove programs and uninstalled any flash player on that list (there was still an old 9 there). *Restart the computer after uninstalling old flash players.

I went back and installed Flash 10 and this solved the problem....Genie is back!
(NB. No restart was required after installing flash 10)

ok fixed on vista ultimate 32
uninstall all java and flash, restart pc.
after restart run fm scout and you can reinstal the newest version of java and flash

People with more problems after following my instructions should uninstall flash fully, (control panel) and reinstall it see if that works.

And now, just my tip for you, go exactly to that folder and click on that file and update from that file... do not go to web browser update, coz it didint work for me that way :S (Strange, same update)

It's not more easier for everybody Eugene release a new final version without so many mentioned bugs?

I'm still trying to use this as GS2011 won't let you export stats to CSV properly.
When I try to load it, it says it is corrupt and I need to download the proper version.
I have installed, uninstalled, installed Flash lots of times and it still won't work.
Any help would be great.
