i guess this is old news for alot of people... but i have until now been very carefull when it comes to the halftimetalk... but in the last three games I've realized how wrong that is, especialy when you have starplayers on your team... torres didn't score first half, he had about 6.9 rating... mascherano and gerrad had about the same... after telling them off in halftime, using " declear your anger at his prefoarmence", Torres scored twice in two of the games, and a hattrick in one of them... both gerrard and mascherano was rated over 8.5 in all three games... and the games weren't some nocompetitions against championsshipteams... one was CL quaterfinal against Juve, one was FA later stage against Everton and the last one was a leugegame against Tottenham (they've been runnerups in the leuge after me 2 years i a row)... so for those who have been afraid to show rage, fear no more :P
team-talk is VERY important in this game.
however i have a system that works quite well:

0-6.5 -> anger
6.5 -> 7.0 disappointing
7.0-8.4 pleased
8.5-10.0 delighted.

works like a charm for me.

with the addition of "i expect a win" before every match.
Yes but for a lower team such as Reading, who are now in there 1st prem season with me, you cant expect a win every match and you cant be angry all the time surley? becuase more than half of my games, my players rate at about 6.9?
then set disappointment for 6.0 and everything above pleased/delighted.

worked for me with leeds and i managed to kick out liverpool from the FA-Cup
