FM19 Challenge - Truro FC

At this topic i will write about my own challenge. I choose Truro Fc and will play without any transfers, only with players which start in my academy.

I start write from 2037-2038 season. We are start from Vanarama National League South and play there until triumphal 35-36 season, now we play in Vanarama National.
3 times before triumphal season we played in play-off from 7-th place, but 3 times we were knocked out in 1st play-off round.

Legends - Kevin Hunter

top goalscorer and key player in the team in 2020-2030 years, and one of the reason why we are not relegate at the start of my playing.

Adam Foster:

Foster carrier

Really good playmaker for this leagues, 1 of the key player in triumphal season. I use him at the DM position

Steve fletcher:

Main goalkeeper during around 20 years, amazing 666 games only in league and more amazing 1077 goal conceded. He never be a amazing goalkeeper, but it was not better than him in the academy in these years.

Dominic Russe:

Main DC during 20 years. He is now 34 years old an d his pace down from 12 to 6, but he continues to play at a good level


I use 4-1-4-1 formation
Formation

Usually i play more attacking formations, like 4-3-3 or 3-4-3, but they can't play so agressive. In this 20 years i try use 4-4-2, 5-3-2, 4-3-3, 5-2-3, 3-4-3, but only with this tactic i play in play-offs and up to VNL 2 years ago.

Now we start play next season, our board expectation in the league - Fight bravely against relegation
Season preview

By the season preview we are 24, but when we are up to VNL we too was at last place by preview in VNR.
My goals on this season - end season around 10-15 place and try to fight for play off.

We are on the 14 place in the league, also we are still playing in FA Trophy.
In FA trophy we won Sutton from the VNS in the rematch after dramatic comeback in 1 match:

Truro - Sutton

In FA Cup we defeated 2 teams from VNS and VNN, but can't defeat Forest Green from League 2.
Forest Green - Truro

Despite this, this is our best result in the cup for the entire game, also we got around 40k$ from 2 wins and it is a lot of money for us at the moment

Goals for the rest of the season:
1) Try to fight for the playoff zone
2) try to go as far as possible in the FA Trophy

Great patience shown in the save it has to be said, to go 20 seasons only bringing through youngsters at a level as low as you are playing in is unreal. Hopefully you start to get some youth players through that will take you to the next level. I'd be interested to know your finances and if only using youth players/graduates has saved you much money?
