Is it just me or does this never really happen?
For example: I play mostly as Liverpool manager, thus I have Torres.
'Likes to lob the keeper'
'Hits first time shots'
'Argues with officials'
'Moves into channels'
I see him hit a lot of first time shots. But when he gets clear of defenders, if he's running on goal he'll usually just slot the ball or power it into a corner. Hes very clinical, but I dont see him doing all that much lobbing.
Now a lob is usually quite obvious, the ball rises, its quite slow and is usually done when the keeper is far enough out of goal to catch him. Saying this a player could also just 'dink' the ball over the keeper, but it doesnt really look like that.
Ive never seen any player really use this move often, seems a bit redundant.
