Dear Community,
I had a question which may involve editing nation rules and/or the nation itself. I would like to experiment with moving clubs into another country's league system, but issue arise with home-grown rules. As Welsh clubs play in the English league system, Welsh trained players count as home grown at English clubs, and vice versa, irrespective of which system in which the club was situated (eg a player trained at Connah's Quay would count as home grown for any club in England, and a player trained at Middlesbrough would count as home grown for any club in the Welsh league system eg Aberystwyth). In this sense England and Wales form a de facto unit with respect to these eligibility rules.
I know that one can add extra nations that count as EU for applicable countries, but is it possible to add further countries that count towards home grown rules (and indeed Foreign and Nation Born) in a similar manner to England and Wales?
Many thanks, rorywnufc
