FM20 with Arsenal

Starting off by managing Arsenal starting the 2019/20 season usually from may (Brazil start date)
Looking for backup players with potential to become premiership quality (3 star/150)
My preference is they be English/UK for domestic quota purposes but willing to pick up foreign players if they are 18 or under, they can be sold for large profit, cheap release clauses or are already of starter quality.
I try to break even most seasons so based on planned sales and transfer budget gives an average of £20mil per player although prepared to go higher.

Current plan is ...
Sell Macey Kolasinac Mustafi Mavropanos and Ozil which should raise around £90m in transfer fees whilst freeing up in excess of £600k in wages
Looking to sign a GK, LB, RB, two DM/MC and SC

GK to be u23/3rd goalkeeper with higher potential then Martinez
LB and RB wingback roles to back up Tierney Bellerin
2 DM/MC in mould of Guendouzi playing as deep playmaker/box to box
SC preferably able to play the both wings as well but ideal in advanced forward role

Will be replenishing the u23 u18 squads so will be looking for under 18 players that can become homegrown and potentially of Premiership quality.

By my experience in FM19, it will be hard for you to acquire players below 18 unless they are wonderkids or with very high potential as Premier League requires them to play certain amount of international games to be signed and those guys are generally already at high end clubs or will ask for decent amount of in transfer fees. Also its good to note, if you manage to sign a young players and cannot get a work visa you can still loan them out, but you will not have control over how they may develop apart from their role and position. One of the options is actually to acquire the youngster with high potential than loan him back to his own club (option during transfer offer) which might also convince an unwilling club to sell the player since he will still be applying there and developing in a known environment for the next couple of years and hope that he lives up to the earlier stats and become an international player sooner than later.

You will of course will be saving more from wage budget but depending on your squad quality and your short and long term plans, you may need to get less younger players as you will not be playing them in the main squad as you said you'd be looking to improve them first.

Therefore, going for younger players such as 15 to 18 might work for you to give them couple of years under you to develop and hopefully become a citizen sooner.

also good luck seling ozil in 2 saves i couldn't even give him away for a free and when i tried to sell sokratis pap the board rejected anything below 18mill.

No one offered more than 12mill for mustafi and sokratis and all wanted me to pay 40k of the wages lol.

I have had a good start with my arsenal team, the budget is'nt huge but I convinced the baord to sign Toby Alderwield from Spurs for 25 million (his release clause) I would have like to sell Xhaka and sokratis but nobody would come in for them. I was able to loan Mustafi out to everton with a mandatory transfer bid at the end for 8 million which wasnt great but had to be done. I signed james rodriquez and Douglas Costa on loan with obligations to buy. Pepe, Costa and Auba have been amazing for me so far and I have won my first 6 league games. James Rod has been injured most of the time. I usually play Torreria holidng mid with either Cabelios/Ganduzhi in the middle with Ozil just behind the front three. Matlin -Niles has been doing amazing at right back while Bellerin is injured and also Klos at left back. I have only conceded two goals so far
