As with previously installments of Football Manager, FM20 should have certain files that will prevent you from managing certain national teams and from current real players showing up in their rosters due to licensing issues.
The national teams with the problem:

How to fix
Fixing this is relatively simple.Go to:

Here you will find a few files. Look for 2 files in particular:
- fake.lnc
- nleague.lnc.
Here is the complete list of what is unlocked by deleting them:
- National teams of Germany and Japan become playable.
- Enable player pics for national teams of The Netherlands and France.
- Restore real players for the team Albirex Niigata (Singapore).
- Fix colors and names for various clubs, stadiums, cities in Japan.
