Due to a change on Mac OSX with Catalina regarding permissions, Sports Interactive made a substantial change to how Mac FM documents are stored. Previously the files would automatically be generated in the Documents folder here:

Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Documents/Sports Interactive

Now the files will instead appear in the following location:

Users/YOUR Mac USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Sports Interactive

By default this folder is hidden, so to access you need to do as follows:

Open Finder
Click ‘Go’ from the menubar
Press and hold down the ‘Option’ (Alt) key
This will bring up the ‘Library’, click to enter then go to ‘Application Support’ -> ‘Sports Interactive’ -> ‘Football Manager 2020’

Help! Logos, Faces, Kits... FM20 shows nothing on Mac

So if your graphic packs are not showing in FM20, make sure you move them to the proper folder:

Application Support -> Sports Interactive -> Football Manager 2020 > graphics

im having real problems getting logo packs and names fix set up in catalina. any tips would be really appreciated
Hi there,

That isn't working for me, I follow the process and I do find the "Sports Interactive" document but it only has FM 2019 and older versions of the game there. I have nothing about FM2020. I have downloaded it through Steam, is this the reason? Do I need to download something extra from the steam file itself. Its so frustrating.

Many Thanks
Actually I have it working now.

Once I actually loaded up the game for the first time, I then quit the game and the files were there where you have said in this article.

Phew, I was getting worried :)

Dear All!

My FM20 folder has the following path:

Users/MY Mac USERNAME/Common Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2020/

I hope it will help!
still not showing the data folder is ths maybe just a beta issue?
if youre on steam you need to use this pathway

library > Application support > Steam > steamapps >common > Football Manager 2020 > data > database > db >

Im on Mac OS Mojave as you,

I tried to install the DF11 megapack faces,

I put the files on the right places but, i can't find the faces on my game,

Is it because of the OS Mojave ? Do I need to pass on Mac OS Catalina ?

I also have mac OS Mojave and found it in Public/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2020. I think you can search for "Football Manager" that you will be able to find.
