Genie Scout 20G - Freezing and Stuttering

For the last few years, I have had an issue with GS. Namely, every thirty seconds or so, it freezes and the top bars go all blurry before correcting itself. Then it is usable. So it is not a game breaker or anything, but highly annoying.

I had this with the last few GS too, but this year it happens more frequently, so would like it resolved if possible.

I'm with you. It's terrible. My scout often freezes longer than 20s. It can be easier sometimes just to end task and redo, which takes a long time in itself.

It needs fixing, otherwise I'll be looking elsewhere for my scout needs.

I have found the solution to my problem, as detailed in this post from Dec 2015.

Basically, the accents are set to change with the background image on my PC which was bugging out Genie Scout 20g 20.4.1 beta 25.
