fm scout editor 20

I downloaded fm scout editor 20 and purchased the license on sunday 1/12/19. it keeps saying: failed to load football manager data: could not find a compatible football manager version.
so far iv been trying to get help for 3 days without a single reply. what is the money we pay for this service being used on?

The error you're getting I don't see any reason you'd be getting it prior to today unless you have opted to public beta builds for the game.

There's a new patch out as of today (20.2) and FMSE is not yet updated. Thanos is working on a patchfix update and it will likely be released tonight.
