joining U19 league

my team has u19 team which doesnt play any U19 competition. I was hoping after my senior squad will play good football - i won the league 3 times, somehow the board or the leauge will offer the chance to participate. never happened. although the u19 plays the champions league fixture.

is it a bug? or is there any chance to be offered to join the national u19 competition? they have to play friendlies. not a big win

Wondering the same, Got Carlisle in the prem on my save, got the board to make a U23 team which plays in the football league trophy last 2 seasons but they dont enter the league!
