Note: I'm changing the writing style of the story to something a little more simplistic, just pure updates and no imaginery scenarios or fake media stories, I liked Aaron's style of writing over at Torquay and to get the best out of the story it seems the right direction to take


The Barclays Premier League the promise land for English clubs and an eyewatering amount of financial income to satify owners and players alike. I have been busy this window in an attempt to bolster the squad and hopefully gather just enough momentum to stay in this league. The money alone can help us become a force and nail down any chance as comfortable Premier League Club.

When I last left you guys we had somehow managed to nick the second automatic promotion spot which lifted us to the Premier League and the cliffhanger of a possible tycoon will still be fresh in the minds of myself and all of you following this save. How about we pick up from then?


Further news arose that the possible new owner of the Club would be willing to put a large amount of money into the club and has ambitous plans to make Hull City a force to be reckoned with. Nathan Gilligan the man to hopefully save the club from destruction.


Well... here is the outcome, The Allams have now left and the City of Hull could not be prouder, to take us into the summer we have now been handed £59m to spend in the market and boy did this team need some much needed tlc. With the big news passing lets so what I could manage to bring in and let go in the Market this summer.


In all fairness my transfer business this season feels like the best I have had in the game and I'm very happy with the business that I've been able to do, not many players have left the club but big names like Kamil Grosicki and Jackson Irvine both left for greener pastures as their contracts expired this summer. No loss only gain lets take a look at some of the players that I signed.










The Transfer Market has been kind and we broke our transfer record bringing in prime young winger Todd Cantwell, partnered across the pitch with Jarrod Bowen i'm hoping we can score a few goals and mix them up with returning loanee Rhian Brewster we may have hot the trifecta. Antonio Sanabria is another steal as is Matt Miazga from Chelsea as the young american seems to have bags of talent in his locker. We raided the free's and came up with two solid signings in Lundstram and Ravel Morrison which will hopefully bolster the middle of the field. Once of the more exiting signings is Jayden Bogle for a steal at 9m. Bogle is another up and coming prospect and also helps with a core of extremely good potential England players.


The Pre-Season review has us tipped to finish bottom of the pile but we know that expectations dont defy us after such a strong Championship campaign. I'm hoping we can avoid relegation as going down could potentially harm the club and after everything we have built in a season it would be tough to take.


If Pre-Season itself is anything to go by then we look strong and confident heading into the league but results against lessor teams will not be so favourable when we take on the top teams in England. I will be posting month by month updates so next up we can take a look at our opening month and hopefully make a firing start to our campaign.

Interesting signings, but it remains to be seen whether this crop of arrivals have what it takes to keep Hull in the top-flight.

You done brilliant to climb up to 2nd in the table and were really unlucky not to win the league in the end. Some good young players added there and the returning Brewster is a massive boost as well as the addition of Gomes. Be good to see if you can get Ravel Morrison performing for the first time in his career. That tycoon takeover is a game changer and you can certainly look forward to spending your way to the top should you wish haha!

Finally they are gone! The new owner seems a lot more happy to invest as well which is always good. Some excellent signings there, in particular Cantwell Bogle and Brewster back on loan. Really like the faith in the young British talent and I hope to see it pay off for you!

August has been a wild month as I got to work on tackling the Premier League and to be honest it has been a suprising start to the campaign. I was hoping new boys such as Jayden Bogle and Todd Cantwell could provide some energy to the squad and regular faces such as Bowen and Brewster could take that Championship form into the top tier.


August would see us kick off the season welcoming Aston Villa to the KCOM which only 2 season back was a Championship game. On the road for the first team this season Hull will play newly promoted Brentford before facing off with Manchester United at Old Trafford. The remaining two games this month will be played at The KCOM Stadium as Hull welcome Stoke and Wolves to round of the month. Lets see how we got on shall we?


The opening day ended in dissapointment as we fell foul of a late comeback as we lost to Aston Villa but a resurgence against Brentford helped us to a 2-0 victory giving us our first points of the season. Manchester United are a tough team for anyone to play but suprisingly a hard fought battle ended with both sides taking a point with us looking the happier of the two teams for it. The Carabao Cup next and we brushed aside Championship outfit Stoke 3-0 to progress to the next round against Plymouth at The KCOM. The final game of the month saw us take on Wolves and once more a resilliant performance saw us run out 1-0 winners against a born again Wolverhampton team.


8th place and 7 points in the opening month and we could only wish we were sitting in this position by the end of the season but there is tons of football still to be played. Now unbeaten in 4 in all competitions gives us a good advantage to get early points on the door in the league to help us with the relegation fight that is sure to be coming our way.


September looks like points to grab and almost a confident certainty of a 4th Round tie in the Carabao Cup in October. Burnley and Leicester in the opening two games should be a thought to look for points but ending the month against Chelsea sets us up for an opening two games in August against Manchester City and Arsenal.

Hopefully we can put some more points on the board come the end of next month. #COYT

A welcome return back to the Premiership. A very good point on the road at Old Trafford!

A relatively simple first month with the exception of Manchester United, who you handled well seemingly. A great position to be in at the beginning of the top-flight return!

Great start to the first season back in the prem, good work.

After a relatively simple first month as Jack but it so beautifully it was time for September in which the run of 'so called' easy games would end as next month was looking tough so points this month would be nothing short of valuable. It would be a trip to Turf Moor first and then a warm welcome to Leicester to the KCOM you know them that team that won the Premier League a few seasons ago.

The Carabao Cup 3rd Rnd would see us take on Plymouth which should be business as usual before the first of three david and goalith challenges as we see out the month against Chelsea before reporting back for Manchester City and Arsenal in October. Lets take a look at how September was handled.


September brought us a good month in terms of what we should be realisticly achieving this season. First up was Turf Moor which ended in a 2-2 draw after a ping pong type game in which both sides dominated. We then welcomed Leicester to The KCOM which ended in a goaless affair as both sides took a point. It was a welcomed site to see us put 3 past Plymouth as seeing green is pleasing and that puts us into the 4th Rnd tie.


Following the Leicester result that put us unbeaten in 5 in the league which is a tremendous run by our standards and anything to add to this run would be favourable but however it was not meant to be.

We finished up against Chelsea and honestly I felt we were good for another point here in a game which we largely dominated but a small piece of brilliance from The Blues saw them beat us to the finish line and ultimately come away without reward for our work, nonetheless, a fantastic effort from the boys this month.


All in good spirits and a good month saw the Board offer me a new contract to continue what I have started here at Hull and the fans could not be happier and me neither as everything is going suspicously well so far but I think October may have something to say about that.


A slight drop to 10th in the league and that is still way above where we are predicted but how we manage to overcome October will be a challenge. Getting points on the board early in The Premier League is integral top survival as I can predict we will have a drop in form somewhere along the way and how we handle that could mean survival or relegation.
