Hi all,
playing as Spurs obviously, first Season did better than expected, won both cups, finished 2nd to City who drew one game against me and lost one... to Burnley! Semi of Champions League where a horror show away saw me lose to Shakthar.. who promptly got pumped by PSG in the final.
I was already starting to look around at replacing Lloris who is still number 1 but will be 34 at the end of the second season. Have no other needs having upgraded full backs in the summer and replaced Vertonghen who left on a free (cheers Jan, heart broken) with a solid 3rd choice/future first choice in Unai Nunez.
Now have a dilemma approaching Christmas. Oblak has declared intention to leave on a free and according to my scouts is highly interested in signing. Furthermore Donnarumma has requested to leave (bigger club) and is available for 45 million and interested.
Both want similar wages which i easily have room for in the budget.
Do i go for the experienced 4.5* freebie (and with still 6 good years in him) Oblak or the potential 5* 10 year plus prospect Donnarumma who will set me back the majority of my remaining transfer budget?
Cheers in advance!
