Confession

I have a confession. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . i am a rubbish football manager! think i have started around twenty new games on fm2010 after things have gone wrong! i often end up on such a losing streak i start to pull my hair out and cry like a baby. . . . . then my top players won't sign new contracts and my wage budget just can't keep them and i begin to have them and try to sell them but they don't leave and then to top it all the ref doesn't give a clear penalty and then when my anger boils over and i speak my mind to the press i get told the board are mad at me and the fa and then. . . . and then i resign and start over again and again i really need to stop this and be a good manager!

Don't get disappointed mate. FM is a game that rewards you for taking the time to dig up its in-depth features, at least regarding your team management. You have to pay attention to certain matters and be patient with yourself.

We, as FMScout, will try to come up with a decent help section for people struggling to succeed (without a cheat). You should expect that sometime within October, I believe.

Thanks mate i have improved and gained confidence with the help on this site already but more help would be gratefully received.

one tip i can give you is that you can watch a real football match and learn some tactical knowledge which you can use on FM :).

Good idea with the real football idea and i'll do that. can't make my mind up weather to start a new game or wait for fm2011:-)
