FM20 Scouting Problem!

I have the world tier scouting packages for both youth and normal players, I have unticked the "interested" and "loan" boxes to bring everyone up and I am still missing so many players!

I'm in season 7 with Bournemouth and I can't find marquee players, no top players ever come up in my searches, I have to browse through to top clubs to try and find people.

I do remember there being a "realistic appointments" box in previous FM's and I can't see it in this one, I believe this is what's stopping me seeing the top players.

Any help on this would be appreciated!!

Hi, had the exactly same problem on FM21, and it's a bit weird ngl. When your scouts send you player reports if you click od discard/dismiss, that player goes automatically on something called discard list which can be found in scouting>players>discard list. Every single player you dismissed, nvm if that was in season 1 or season 7 is on that list and therefore not showing in 'normal' scouting section. Really confused with this because I'm pretty sure this never happened to me in earlier in FM versions. Hope this helps you or someone else with similar problem
