QUICK UPDATE

Well I thought it was time to give people an update on my ability to sweet talk the club into some decent deals, while there confidence is still high in me so.

I have managed to get them to agree to invest in youth facilities and training facilities.

The big one was chancing my luck on an increase on our transfer budget as we have never had one since joining the squad, a longshot I thought.

[img][/img]

Then the board just whip out the increase to 3.33m, so it great going forward, move into wages and take on some big free transfers in January.
TRANSFER UPDATE

As a club we were really sitting at a crossroads, we had a semi decent squad with good youngsters that could step up to the plate in the future. We had a sit down with the board and decided it was time to cash in on our highest value players to reinvest into younger talent and improve the squad to make a push up to the playoffs and above. A real risk but one that was required to take us to the next level.

OUTS

[img][/img]

Some big money was taken to prize our best players away from us. 3 starters depart the squad to give us much needed cash and frees up a lot of wages to improve the squad to no end. for Free transfers these were great pieces of business.

INS
So this was the time to invest all the money earned from selling our best players for the last few years and reinvesting into much better players who were on the transfer list at other clubs.

[img][/img]

Most expensive pick up for the squad was taking this player on board, great piece of business, clearly better than our previous midfield options and adds some considerable talent.

[img][/img]

Well we had to replace 2 starting midfielders and with this signing it was complete a real improvement on the previous pairing. Great all round player and someone who will add that extra bit of creativity to the squad on a low wage to help things aswell.

[img][/img]

It was about time I took on real quality at the back that wasn't a loan signing. This player will fit right into the starting 11 for years to come. Great all round defender who will marshall the defense well.

[img][/img]

Let go of some deadwood at CB so purchased this player to take on as back up and looks a cracking back up and plenty of room to improve.

[img][/img]

Considering some of my best full backs are on loan, this purchase was a much needed signing moving forward and actually a great prospect that should be able to play for us for years and become a real key player.

[img][/img]

After taking Palmer to the squad we needed a new goalie to battle for the starting slot and this player does that and more. Is going to become the starting goalie going forward, paid over the odds with the wages but was clearly a needed investment.

[img][/img]

Now this could be the best signing given time, come into replace the departing striker a young prospect who already has some great attributes. Very cheap fee paid, over the next few years we have someone who can really lead the line. Mentals are not great but they can be worked on over time.
JANUARY UPDATE
With a new look strikeforce and our first choice keeper departing everything was set up against us on the lead up to the new season and a target of mid table was set for us going forward.

Steping up to the table
Well everyones eyes were on Alex Palmer as he attempts to fill the gloves of our club best goalie and fan favourite. Which is exactly what he has done currently, he has really performed above expectations and become a clear fan favourite with some amazing performances.

Gondo Goal Hero
When we have no striker option of our own we take in some free transfers in the hope that they can carry the purden and hit the goal trail. Well step up Gondo who has blazed the way and scored 14 goals out of 22 league games so far, really giving us a platform to build on. WHAT A FREE SIGNING HE HAS BECOME!!

ALL OF THIS SEES US SITTING IN A HANDY POSITION

Sitting pretty in the play off places. Nice work :)

Thanks hopefully make it count!
END OF SEASON UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE ARE IN THE PROMISED LAND............ BOLTON LEAVE IT TO THE LAST DAY TO SNEAK THE LAST PROMOTION SPACE

[img][/img]

SO WITH THAT THE FANS ARE LOVING LIFE

[img][/img]

GONDO finishes top goalscorer in the league...but surely he cant be a casualty of the re-build?????

WHAT DO WE THINK CAN GONDO HACK IN THE PREM?????????
Congrats man, what an achievement, regardless of time! The hardest haul now though is incoming, so be prepared ;)
GL in The Prem - I am doing the same, embarking on my 1st prem Season with Bolton, after 2 successive Play-off promotions.
I`ve brought in many players` but now my GK Fructl, Emmanuel & Boon are all kicking off [ yes I`ve still got them ], in Pre-Season ( timing! ). I will try to sell them if poss.
Any update?
Very nice to see you've already made it to the PL! Good luck! One small tip: it seems you're using the image code double, because I see [img][/img] around all your pictures.
