I am playing FM 2018 and I found this kinda "Glory Hunter Challenge" on another forum where the main goal is to win the 5 top European Leagues, 5 other top european leagues, 5 top continental club trophies, 5 continental national trophies, and 10 domestic cups all around the world. You should also start with no badges nor previous experience, so basically as a nobody in the football scene.
So I started with the Korean, Chinese, Indonesian, Singaporean and Australian first and second leagues. My main goal for now was to conquer the Asian Champions League.
I started as an unemployed manager and quickly found a job in the Indonesian second league. After 3 seasons where i allways failed promotion in the playoff finals, I left the club to try to get a bit closer to my goal.
I am now in 2026 and I've managed:
• Sragen United (Indonesia Second Division) - 3 seasons
• Chang'an (Chinese Second Division) - 1 season
• Tampines Rovers (Singapore First division) - 2,5 seasons where I won the title and the cup twice, and reached the Asian Confederations Cup play off final and the Asian Champions League Group Stage, the first in the clubs' history.
• Daejeon (South Korea Second Division) - 1,5 seasons, where I failled promotion by losing in play off finals (again)
• Atletico San Luis (Mexico) - half a season, where I got really frustrated and left before the end of the Apertura
This save has been nothing but frustration, either because of lack of staff (in Chang'an and San Luis I started as the only staff at the club) or by lack of budget. The only club where I was able to build a nice team was at Tampines, but even there I got frustrated because of the lack of quality compared to the Asian Champions League teams and all the nationality restriction you have when building your squad.
Now, starting 2026 unemployed, I found that I don't have enough reputation to manage any team that can play a Continental trophy (I have a 2 stars reputation, with a A Continental License) and I'm really struggling to find a new team. I would like some advice on how to proceed from now, to reach my goal. Should i go back one step and manage a second league team ? Should I keep trying to manage a continental team?
