Luparini also agreed to a transfer to Gelbison, a team playing in the Serie D. It makes sense but he was also a big contributor to our success.

We're not that prolific without the Spaniard and Luparini but at least we win games....

We were absolutely horrible in both those losses and maybe our system isn't working against harder opposition or is in need of subtle changes. We'll find out next year for sure.
As for the players, Chianese who was previously a back up player, couldn't fill Vych Rodriguez's shoes but was decent, Rucco and Luparini contributed a lot, Santacroce that we brought to replace Luparini was mediocre and the defense was magnificent at times. So many clean sheets and a left back, Riccardis, that was a threat for the opposition everytime he attempted a cross. We're once again champions and broke lots of records so at the end of the day, I'm content.

Dimitris was having a look at the accounting records. During the course of the month, player and staff additions had been made but now that the club was semi-professional, the financial aspect of managing it was suddenly very different. He decided to call the owner.
- Hey, have you had a look at the books?
- What books? You mean the money?
- Yes. You see I looked at the projection and it's looking bad. We'll be 200k deep in the red. Will we be making any money this season? You know...TV money, prize money, tickets, merch.

Our cup run ends against Gladiator. We did our best, prevented The Spaniard from scoring but we eventually lost in the penalties.
What's alarming is our two bad results at home which mean that we're not top of the league. The new faces we brought in aren't gelling as much as I would like and there are no partnerships (links) formed between any of them.

The wheels are coming off!
Nothing seems to work in our favor for the first time in my career but I have to believe in our system and especially the 3 strikers. I can't and will not try and play with wingers or have two, even one striker. That's my system, my philosophy and if I want to be one of the greats, I have to be identified by a signature tactic and style of play.
I'm gonna make it work and if it doesn't then so be it.

Chianese, who has been the one creating links with the other strikers is gone as well and what a stupid decision it is on his part? At least the other boys went to teams playing in higher leagues at the time. He's gone to a different group of the 5th tier ffs. We also lost some other first team players who weren't game changers and can be easily substituted but we'll have no consistency as a team. Players are coming and going as they please right now.

Thank you but as you can see, things aren't going as planned. Hopefully, we turn things around in the next 3 months. (of course I know whether we did or not as I've "paused" the save in the summer of 2024 in order to tell you the story of my career until that point and then continue telling it with a better and more detailed format, transfer specials, youth intakes and all of that)

A difficult transfer situation but one that is sort of expected at that level. So many players will come and go. Just need to keep the results going and things will work out!
