Actual team chants E.g if u were Liverpool You will never walk alone will play but a recording of the fans singing it and see the players do skill on the pitch not just watch them gan in a straight line.
the ability to stipulate in the future transfer fee terms on loans future transfer % and monthly instalments etc just like a normal transfer. it particularly pisses me off when the computer will refuse to offer 7.5 million + 50% future fee, but will offer 500k for the loan then 7.5 million in future. no, i want 7.5 + future transfer %.
# Drchaos69 : Lately i was thinking about some changes that would make Football manager more realistic and challenging.I agree with your 2. point. As of 1 and 3, dude, that's a totally different game you are defining. FM (formerly CM) has developed drastically since 90's but it hasn't changed as much as you are suggesting even if you compare first and latest versions.
This is my list:
1º)Players and staff should have their attributes and personalities hidden. We should listen carfully to what staff and players have to say, and observe the matches, take notes and others, like realy managers do to obtain information.
2º)In lower leagues i can make money real fast just by arrange lot's of friendlys against the same foreigner club. That's not realistic. For example, if i play one friendly match with my sub-19 team against a foreigner club that pay me 20K for the traveling, i can make lot's of money if i keep playing against him. In reality this never happen, after some friendlys they don't have more money, but in FM they have infinite money to give us with that method.
3º)Training section should be improved. If we could see players training it would help us find more about the players (assuming hidden attributes).
We should have the option to plan weekly training, choose specific exercises, and get help of our staff if we feel to overwhelmed.
Testing some tactics during training would be intresting too.
And that's all. I know that some ppl would like the challeng of these changes. Others would prefer less work. But it will take FM to a new level of realism.
its an old thing but how about we are allowed to do something with ours managers wage??? like bettting or fectures to help your team

That's true, it'll be a drastic change. But they could start gradualy. Maybe first just putting it as an option.
In my opinion, if football manager became a totally different game, but in the realistic\difficult side, i'll be happy with it.
I've been playing this since the early CM's and i'm a huge fan.
FM11 is for me a real step-up in the series and i believe that this game will be even better in the future.
But, there´s something that always annoys me. When i start a new game i always spend lots of time in the preparation of the team. I always start with the staff and ultimately go for the players. For me, it is a real pain, whenever i change club and have to go all over again with the staff hiring.
In real life, Managers have it's own key staff members and when they sign with a new club they bring they´re team staff with them. So it would be a good ideia to implement this in the game. I suppose it could be part of the initializing game phase, when you put you're personal data we could have a new module were we could choose our key staff, for example, a Keeper coach, a fitness coach, a assistant coach, a scout and a physio.
These are my two cents...
sorry for my english p:

Thanks everyone for your suggestions so far!
I will soon be putting an article together in an effort to include all those suggestions in an easy to read bullet list and let SI know about it. We might get lucky with an idea or two.
Keep 'em coming

I know I've mentioned some of the ideas earlier, but here are some things that wouldn't just be nice to see in the furture, they destroy it today!
- being able to match other teams contract-offers when trying to sign free-transfers/bossmen... it's so f***ing frustrating when a player accepts a low offer and then someone else comes in with a better one that you could easily match, but the game won't allow you, it's retarded!
- being able to assign scouts to shortlists... I know many players have mentioned it before, but until it's fixed i won't stopQ
- the youth-system, I prefer FM to FIFA-manager any day, but here you do have alot to learn SI!
- more specific training - the "focus" option of FM11 is a step on the way, but there is more to be done. For exampel making set-pices separate again, separate the mental traning (in offensive/defensive or more specific), making heading an individual dicipline and so on
- when "buying" a coach, the money comes out of the transfer-budget, but his wage isn't included in the wage-budget??? it's equally important, fix it!
- if you have a coach on your staff who is a tactical genius but not your ass.manager, he should still be able to sett OI!

NEW FOR 2012 EXCUSIVE NEWS:
You wil be able to travel on the team bus all the way in real time with squad!
You can now talk about the referee before and after matches in a more vocal way including using twitter! - and get an FA warning
You can now bribe FIFA to let your country host the world cup!
You can vote - or not to who runs fifa and decide on a corrupt one or one that is polically correct.
When you get sacked you can be a tv pundit instead of taking on another managers job!
You now can control the crowd yourself when they run on the pitch after a win with a big slap of a big hand like a mini-game.

Like your ideas mate especially bribing FIFA or you could just bribe a refree to win a match.
what i'd like to see are more lively interactions with players, even with different personalties, the conversations seem routine and bland. What i definitely want to see are more detailed graphics in matches. Maybe FM should as well go more graphical for 2012(less text)maybe have a 3d office as the menu during play.
+Dynamic Crowd(right reactions from home and away goals and poor performances)
+Possibly show managers along with yourself on the sidelines during matches
+Upgraded graphics to the extent that we could literally see player faces in matches if we wanted to.
+/-(maybe)Deaths and carrer-ending injuries. Ok this may sound a bit wrong but it is a natural thing in life. Like for players or people of inportance to football.
+Player introductions and ceremonies before a match(optional)
+Classic Teams to manage like Brazil 1970(optional)
+Personal player issues
+Personally select youth players from academy
+Dynamic conversations and conferences
+Players having interviews alongside you(meaning that they would talk as well).
I believe Fm 2012 would be quite a compelling title with these additions.

My 1st ever input onto this forum,
i would like to see future additions to competitions.
Meaning like in the A league is Australia, Im from new zealand and manage them a lot it would be cool if they FA approved new teams to enter leagues etc....

Make the game more FUN!! It is too much of a SLOG to get thru one week. Too many screens to set up my team pre-match. Combine basic and advanced screens. Have player specific instructions e.g. my cuts inside winger settings stay with the player so when I drop him into a game I don't have to change the settings every time. Why not have global settings for resting ALL players e.g. at 50% rest for a week, at 60% for 3 days etc.. Cut down on the micromanagement.
Make the 3D engine more exciting. Players still don't feel like they respond or react as a team. Need more one-twos, incisive moves, and flair moves. More dangerous moments, more emotion!! Improve the graphics.. in the age of FIFA and PES they look pathetic.
Thanks!

I'd like to see some more scout control, such as allowing them to scout teams as well as Countries, Leagues and individual players. Also I scout at lot of African clubs by ctrl+a and scout, because they are rubbish at simply sending them to a country, then I get a load of crappy player's reports clog up my messages, it would be good to just get the reports of the half decent ones, say over 2.5 stars.
One aspect that has really been bugging me is my chairman. He keeps selling the really good young players for really low prices and there is nothing I can do, I've had about 7 taken away from me in the past three seasons, and they are now where 3 or 4 times more than what they were sold for. I'd like to be able to persuade the chairman to reject the bid, for example, by an ultimatum, saying they are vital for the clubs future success, or that it will be more expensive in the long run to sell a player with potential.

You can stop clubs from bidding for your players (not giving the chairman a chance to interfere) by setting your players asking price really high.
If you have a player whose value is 500K and you really don't want to sell him, set his asking price at 10 million for example and that will scare most clubs off, and if a club does make a bid it will be at least half of his asking price so in this case 5 million.
