FM20 - Ideas for a new save

Hi Guys,

Ive just got # United from tier 9 into the football league with successive promotions, but I’ve just lost the buzz for the save and think it’s because it’s my 3rd long term lower English league save. Has anyone got any ideas for new save I could do outside of England? I was thinking of doing a rebuild so don’t want to start in the top couple of tiers of any leagues. I just need something to reignite my desire to play a long term save.

Pro Vercelli in Italy (Serie C) is a historic club who's fallen totally off the radar, perhaps them?

Otherwise, Internacional de Madrid in the Spanish 3rd Tier (maybe 4th? Don't remember), get a 3rd major Madrid team onto the map!

Sweden/Finland/Norway could be a good save to do. Football calendar runs differently there and there tends to be far less games in a season than in England so it might be an nice change of pace.

Iceland is on my to do list, I believe it's licensed and just looking up all the teams we play aginst for the beautiful views would be interesting to me!

I think there's some good European clubs that could revisit the glory days, thinking of your Marseille's, Valencia's etc. I've got an Ajax idea in mind as well, working hard on the youth and trying to conquer Europe again with a players brought through the club.

Vague interest in a Swansea save, but can ONLY use Welsh players.

As an aside on that, really digging in at a Welsh league / Irish / Northern Irish side and seeing how far they can go in Europe.

Making Hearts a real dominant force in Scotland (I like the name, kit and badge and city lol).
