Board selling players

Hi guys,

Keen to see people’s thoughts here. I’m currently doing a journeyman and I’m managing Rubin K in Russia at the moment. I’m now in the champions league, having won the league last year and I finished 2nd the 2 year’s before. My board just sold my best cb, who is Russian (so important with the HG rules) for absolute peanuts to Dinamo Moscow in my league on transfer deadline day. Moscow haven’t challenged for the league since I joined and aren’t in Europe, but my player left and my board accepted money that wasn’t worth selling to a rival for. The club finances are very good so it wasn’t a plausible financial decision. It’s annoyed me to be honest and I feel the AI is awful when it comes to this.

Anyone else have this problem? Just feels a little unrealistic to me.

Very cool to hear someone else get frustrated with the games AI.

I have never had a Board sell a player behind my back or without consultation but i have had many issues with the Board at Man United.

1. My perosnal club contract negotiations were terrible
2. The board love to block me more and more with buying players.
3. Not to mention when i asked them for help to sign Cristian Eriksen, they gave a pathetic offer for a world class player.
......Because of the funds available and my situation at the time, the only option was to 'ask the board for help' hahahah....it was hardly worth it.

I wish i could change the whole AI for board management.
