AML and AMR setup???

With Knap's tactics you could well win everything. The secret to that/those tactics are the match engine breaking pressing.

If you aren't employing the same press overload then all out attack in roles will be too attacking.

The average means nothing. Just look at performance and contribution to the team. Also if your winning and they are playing, dont stress. just enjoy the winning feeling.

I had Stengs when i was Holland Manager and he was great but only had a 7.6 average. But he was a great and big player for me.

As a National team coach he played AMR or a basic MR both times as a winger and he was great.

I did nothing special, i had no special settings for him.

1 thing i can recommend is shen you are the club manage, you have the chance to criticize the player and really tell them you are not happy.
I did this to a player called Dani Olmo ..i spoke with him after 4 games below 7.0 and i told him it was not accpetable!!!

Maybe you should have a strong conversation with Stengs.
After i spoke with Dani Olmo, he played very well and apologiesed immediately.

The AI will use 6 attacking roles against you.
A tactic needs balance but as it has to deal with an AI which constantly changes role duties formations .
If you want full details on changing in a match, have a read of mentality matters.
If you want to tweak between games read the advice from RDF.

I recently posted IF 4231 Tactics for somebody else, so they do exist and I recommend uro tweak version.
