Matches no longer play out I just get the result?

Hi
I just finished my first season of FM 2020 and made changes to the staff (as in what they do and what I look after) and my first 2 friendlies just gave me the results of the matches where previously I watched the game.
Anyone have any idea what I have done to cause this?

Probably you assigned your assistant to manage your friendly matches
