Does anyone have any idea on what sort of opposition instructions you should use? Since I've had this game all I've done is just ask the assistant to do them prior to the game but I've never actually had any idea about if that's actually what I'm meant to do or if that'll work for me. Thanks for any help
I usually keep my tactics the same all the way through with just changing the player roles depending who is in my starting 11.
I let my assistant pick the opposition instructions... But, I do get involved and remove any that I believe it really goes against the style of play I want to enstill in the team
I have them turned off & I recommend the same for most players.
While useful at times they can also compromise your tactical requests.
Opposition instructions can be very helpful but may compromise your own tactical set up. I would suggest using it only in big matches where defense is more important. Never mark a midfield player because then your own midfielder will always be out of position. I prefer setting both opposition centre backs on always press and go in strong. This has helped me score a lot of easy goals. But for that, you must be playing a pressing game and a very high line.
It also helps to set ho in hard for players with poor dribbling and flair. Always a chance to get the ball in opposition's half.
