Glitch in transfer negotiations

I tried to sign Timo Werner in my first season at Zebre in exchange for Bernadeschi. I offered 10+ Berna and they said they want 70 mil + Berna. I removed Berna from the deal and they still demanded 70. Am I doing something wrong? Same with Bernardo Silva. Asking for 140mil regardless of player

They just dont want to sell the player to you. or they want more money. Werner has a £52 million buyout clasue, you need to scout him until full knowledge so you can see his buyout clause. then just bid £52 m.
