Hi, I'm Jacob; I've recently joined FM Scout in order to write my own FM2011 story. This is something which I am very pleased to be doing - I hope some reader interest will be generated in my experiences of Football Manager 2011!
FC St. Pauli

It will be my aim in this Football Manager 2011 story to establish the little-known but passionately-supported Hamburg club St. Pauli in Germany's first division (Bundesliga), to which they have been recently promoted. My task for the 2010-11 season is merely to "avoid relegation".
This will not be an easy task! I have only around €600,000 transfer budget and €135,000 wage budget (€5,000 of which is currently spare) with which to add to my squad. Luckily, I am reasonably encouraged by the players already at my disposal - judging purely by assistant reports, St. Pauli have good starters and cover in all positions, with a particularly strong midfield. The squad is short of high-profile names, but glamour and celebrity are two footballing concepts that are completely antithetic to the principles on which this famously left-wing football club was founded; I intend to keep going the traditions which have served to make St. Pauli and their distinctive brown colours a special team in Germany and one with a large base of hardcore supporters. The two players who stand out at first glance are right-back Moritz Volz - this is only because he used to play for Fulham - and experienced right-winger Gerald Asamoah.

Okay, well that's it; I just wanted to familiarise you a bit with the story I will be updating over the next few months (perhaps longer if things go well) and introduce myself. Keep posted for updates on the fortunes of myself and FC St. Pauli in the highly competitive Bundesliga!
